Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
This account has no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so unsure if there is an early account termination fee or not.
Our Verdict
Looks to be a good deal, just need to know if you can fund with a credit card or if it’s a hard/soft pull.

Note for these accounts btw: according to their fee schedule, there's a $2 fee for incoming transfer via Online Banking, $3 for outgoing!! (No fee for pulls from the other bank.) Also a $5 fee for 6+ transactions/mo for Money Market account
No 1099 Tax form sent out for the bonus.
Mine posted exactly three weeks after the 90 days. I used Astra for direct deposit, which coded as "Astra Inc. Astra Inc. PPD"
Also, the "monthly" requirement goes by statement month, not calendar month!
$300 bonus posted
how soon after DD posted?
30 days after 90 day DD requirement period.
Not super Chex-sensitive -- approved with a handful of inquiries the past couple months, but about 24 the past two years.
Emailed me for proof of living or working in their region.
Expecting to be denied, but will ignore the email and see what happens.
Any updates?
Strict about membership qualifications :-/
Got "approved," but then received email asking for the name of the member I'm related to, even though putting in the name was "optional" in the application. I expect that they will be equally strict following-up on location
/ employer. Good luck!
Any OOS applicants?
Made an attempt on Saturday, and application was sent for review.
Got an email today asking for the name of the relative I know... not gonna go for it.
Applied and approved. No email nothing. It did not ask me to create the online account either. May be online login details will be sent manually when bank will open on Monday.
EDIT: Just received an email saying that we are reviewing your application though I was shown approved at the end of application process.
Pretty region specific, you have to be living or working in south east ma, Cape Area or RI. I do wonder if it will be enforced though.
Any updates?
Where do you see this?
@guest_1212654 Second step in the application after you put in your email address. There's a dropdown list of acceptable locations where you need to reside. If you say Other you can see the list:
