Our Verdict
100,000 is the standard high offer on this card, advantage of this offer is the Platinum Elite status and the advertising credit. Many of us won’t be eligible for the bonus due to lifetime rules, see the post New Chase/American Express SPG/Marriott Rules Are Now In Place for more details. There is also an increased offer on the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant card offering Platinum Elite status and the Marriott Boundless is offering five free night certificates. We will add this offer to our best credit card bonus page.

This offer has changed. Now just 75,000 miles and no $150 ad spend credit. It looks like both Amex offers have decreased in value. https://www.marriott.com/loyalty/earn/credit-card-rewards.mi
Thinking about pulling the trigger on this...any suggestions of uses for the $150 advertising credit? My side "Ebay Business" doesn't have any advertising costs...Ideas? Is this MS'able in any way?
Hey there! did u figure out how to spend the 150$ advertising credit of Amex Marriot biz?
Before applying friendly reminder about the time frame you've had the other Marriot cards. I currently have the Chase Premier Business Plus card. I need to cancel it and wait 30 days to apply for this card. Is that right? https://thepointsguy.com/guide/eligibility-chart-marriott-bonvoy-cards/
I don't like using TPG BUT this eligibility guide is pretty handy (assuming it's correct.)
I had the personal amex bonvoy brilliant card 1 year ago. Does this mean i am not eligible for the signup bonus for this card? Many thanks
Does Amex ever match sign up offers? Got this card a month ago.
Any DPs as to whether Amazon PPC counts toward the advertising credit?

I Just applied for the old offer yesterday and was approved. What are my chances of changing it to this new offer?
Wow, you done got Bonvoy’d
ugh, I just met the SUB. Wish I had waited now
So both P1/P2 had Amex SPG cards that I opened 5 years ago that converted to Bonvoy before I finally closed them maybe 1-2 years ago. I think one of the cards I closed before Bonvoy came along actually.
I looked at the post DoC referenced, but still not clear whether I'm ineligible or not. Do they consider an SPG card bonus the same lifetime bonus limitation as if it were Marriott?
Yes they are. Those are just rebranded, but the same as SPG Biz... if yoy had SPG personal you are ok... but if you had SPG biz you are not eligible.
would there be a popup saying not eligible if one had the card before? Between P1/P2/P3/ IT becomes confusing to remember
You need to keep an excel spreadsheet. That's what I do for p1, p2, p3
I had the card before, but no pop up message during the application
Will see whether the points posted
Marriott must be super hurting for business if they're doing this, considering that it seemed like the entire point of the Bonvoy restructure was to make it significantly harder to get the benefits pre-Bonvoy Gold used to get you.
