Update 1/13/20: This is now live, it also shows on the benefits page and states how much of the benefit has been used. Hat tip to beckhsrules
Starting January 12th Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders are entitled to an annual (1/12-12/31) $60 DoorDash credit in 2020 and 2021. There are a few things you should be aware of to maximize this benefit:
- Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders are also entitled to a free DoorDash DashPass (basically free delivery at some restaurants)
- Wyndham offers 250 points per DoorDash booking
New users can get $15 back on their first order through Swagbucks(Swagbucks deal is dead) or Topcashback. Alternatively you can use a referral link to get $5 off your first four orders (please do not share your referrals in the comments below)
We will also make more of an effort to post any promo codes that work for existing users, if anybody knows of any current ones please let us know below.

I know this is from last year, but, Chase has been very unhelpful. I treated myself to new years Eve dinner 2021 as I did in 2020 ie. on the 31st. The post date was the 1st and in their system, that I can't see, it says the post date was the 1st but paid out on the 2nd. It was escalated and denied. I explained I have the receipt and the chase notification in my email the day I purchased. After a 15 minute Convo of trying to figure out what else I could do the rep said, "I've told you everything I can, we cannot resolve this in the fashion you would like" and hung up. Any ideas on recourse?
Is the $60 determined by transaction date or posted date? I have money left for 2020 that I was hoping to use on 12/31 but last time I ordered the posted date was the next day after the transaction date.
Appears to be the transaction date. DP: I spent all of my $60 on 12/29 and 12/30 (transaction dates). They didn't post until 1/1, and the Doordash credits posted on 1/1 as well, however, the Benefits section is still showing that I have the full $60 in credit to use in 2021. Hope this helps.
MyPoints is offering 3400 points (~$21) for first order to new DoorDash users currently.
Question for someone who knows about Chase Sapphire cards. I got my CSR last year in mid-May. My statement ends on May 23. I want to try to double dip the $300 travel credit and downgrade the card. I was told that the annual fee gets charged around June 1. I am a bit confused. Do I have 30 or 40 days to downgrade the account AND get the annual fee fully refunded from the June 1 date? Or would the 30 / 40 days be from June 23 when I get the statement with the annual fee on it? Basically I'm wondering if the 30 / 40 days to get the annual fee back in this instance would be from June 1 (when the annual fee is supposed to hit) or from June 23 when I get the statement that has the annual fee on it? Thanks for any insight into this. Rudy
Do you have to be enrolled in Doordash pass to get this $60 per year credit?
@will do you or @chucksithe have a referral link for Door Dash that we can use?
STORETODOOR supposed to give $5 off $10 but probably only for first time users
Not me
I used a referral link and signed up for door dash. I linked my CSR benefits to the DD app and it worked fine. Then I picked an address in the part of town I wanted food from and then the DD app populated participating restaurants. I selected the pickup option and ordered Subway. Worked without a hitch. There were a few fees but not too bad accounting for the $5 off orders of $12 or more for the first 3 orders via referral bonus. You don't have to have someone else deliver you food to do this. Note:Subway did not have all the options on their sandwiches, so you can call the restaurant and have them customize your order as needed.
Thanks for the heads up Doc. 99% of the times I use these services (DoorDash, Ubereats etc), it's while I am traveling for work. Easy $60 back into my pocket.
They have BevMo, this is great!
