- Transfer stocks to MFI during the Promotion Period from an account at one of the following broker-dealers: Robinhood, Webull, TD Ameritrade (including ThinkorSwim),Interactive Broker, Fidelity, E Trade, Cash App, Charles Schwab, Ally Invest, Firstrade, or Merrill Lynch. Transfers from other broker-dealers are not eligible for this Promotion.
- Transfer Reward Promotion: If, during the Promotion Period, you deposit assets (stock or cash) totaling the amounts shown below, you will be eligible for the rewards also shown below. The cash reward will be credited to your Moomoo Financial Inc. brokerage account within 10 business days after the end of the Promotion Period. If you transfer in HK stock, the accumulated amount of Transfer-In will be converted into USD (7.82 HKD = 1 USD)
Our Verdict
The $100 tier with $1,000 deposit seems easily doable. I assume this offer is showing in the app for everyone. The fine print indicates you have to register for the promo first. A reader who was not apparently targeted was still able to register via chat.

The link is erroring to 404 not found. Moo invalidated both P1 and P2 "Christmas" bonus despite saying all conditions met and then to wait for 5 business days. Customer service ticket created per chat, but response is not immediate. Are they going down? Is it time to pull out all funds and close account.
When pages disappear like that, that means they are doing an update and it's in the queue to be republished. I imagine they added the info for the newest promo that started Jan 15th.

Nice find. I was able to do this from a desktop - just had to use 2FA SMS to verify the account. For those that are doing the lowest tier, be aware that it says greater than $2,000.
@chucksithe There seems to be a new $100 ACATS promotion from 8/30 to 9/30 for new and existing customers. Only difference is that the minimum transfer is >$2000.

It says to go to the 'events' screen, but I don't see that. I checked 'promotions' and don't see it there
I haven't seen it either. I am not sweating it too much but will try to reach out to Moomoo to see if they can add it manually.
Getting my Fidelity transfer to go through was rough. I tried a variety of things: trying to put in a partial transfer with no cash threw up a "margin requirement is greater than the equity with loan value" error until I added cash, then I kept getting rejection emails saying "Your transfer-in request for US stocks initiated on 7/20/2023 has been rejected for the following reason: account in distribution or transfer." It'd been a few days since I made the order at least one of the times, so idk what that was about. Eventually I got it to go through saying I wanted "all" of those stocks transferred + $15 cash, but I have no idea what of how i filled out the form + my Fidelity account made the difference.
One potentially useful DP is that the coupon showed up automatically even though the transfer was only initiated within the promotion period, and posted two days later.
Got clarification on this. It's a cash back coupon. Basically you just need $100 in one's account and need to buy to open for $100 and you'll receive $100 creditied to your account in 3 business days. At that point can sell the stock and cash everything out. So we can withdraw the other $900 of the $1000 transfer at this point and just leave $100.

I think you need to provide details of your situation because I have a feeling that it is a "you" problem and Moomoo didnt do something wrong. If you did the correct steps that most people have done you should not have had any problems.
Prior to doing the ACAT, did you chat with Moomoo reps to ensure you were enrolled in the "Transfer promo", as they were calling it? New accts supposedly were not required, but I would have done so, because how new is new?
If you did a $1,001 ACH, you did not complete the task.
If you did an ACAT, you should have received the following subject emails:
Transfer In Request Submitted
Transfer In Status Updated
Transfer Completed
If you got those, that means you used Moomoo's system to request the ACAT. That should be enough of a paper trail that they will likely give in on providing the bonus. Do you have those?
Were you a MooMoo customer before May 26th, 2023? If so you had to have contacted MooMoo for the rep to manually add the promotion. If you signed up for Moomoo from May 26th, 2023 until July, the promotion should have been automatically enrolled to the promotion for me since I signed up in early July. I called Moomoo to confirm this information.

My cash balance is less than $1000 (~$870). Can I sell $130 of my stock (BIL) and repurchase $1000 of it immediately to get the coupon?
@guest_1669068 @chucksithe It does seem like with this $100 coupon, you only need to make a stock order of $100 in order to redeem the coupon so you wouldn't need to sell any of your BIL stock to get to $1K.
If you look at the Discount Description #4 for this $100 coupon, it says so.
4. The threshold order amount is 100USD (782HKD) and the maximum cashback amount is 100USD (782HKD).
Compare that to the signup $100 cash coupon it states the following:

I'm confused about what a "coupon" is
coupon = bonus. You have to make a purchase in order to receive it. You make the trade on their platform and then they will credit your cash account $100.
Look carefully at the coupon. Mine says cannot be used only on or after 9/10/2023. Not sure if this is the case with everyone.
@guest_1651022 Yes I noticed this. I was holding out for the coupon to be used immediately. Since it can't, no Sense leaving cash as cash. So I invested it all into BIL. When September 7 rolls around I'll sell enough to get up to $1000 such that it'll settle (T+2) by Monday the 11th, and then buy $1000 of BIL on Monday.
I think that is the case for everyone. I got mine too and it is valid from 9/10/2023 until 8/30/2025. It wouldn't make sense for Moomoo to make it different for specific individuals.
I do find it strange that they made it 1 month later unless it was a system wide typo and it was too late to revert it?
