The Offer
- The My Sprint Rewards app is offering a free month to Cinemark’s movie club.
The Fine Print
- One free month of membership for new members only.
- Promotion valid only once per member.
- After 1 month, Movie Club membership will automatically renew at the membership price associated to the billing zip code, plus applicable taxes.
- Use of the Promo Codes and the Cinemark movie club service applicable is subject to Company’s terms of use.
Our Verdict
Keep it mind it will renew at full price, so make sure to cancel before it does if you don’t want to continue the service. These deals usually have limited quantity, so might as well claim it as soon as possible if eligible, not sure if they usually offer a free trial or not.

Seems a waste of time
You could cancel the membership right away after signing up. The member benefits will end in a month and the credit (1 free movie) will expire in 7 months.
Good idea. So, it's basically like a 1 free movie ticket offer, and 20% off concessions, when you get there.
Can we cancel on the website or do we have to call?
1 ticket per month? not even worth my time
You get one ticket per month, and you get 20% off concessions. IMHO The concession discount alone pays for the membership.
20% off of a gazillion percent markup? Okay.
This type of plan is a net positive for the theater, because it guarantees that each customer buys at least 1 ticket per month, and incentivizes the purchase of overpriced concessions... that are still overpriced - less 20%.
Also, there isn't even necessarily a blockbuster movie out every single month; and, a lot of people eat before going to see a movie anyway, because concessions are pure junk. Heck, if you really need some candy during a movie... just put it in your pocket.
The only deal I advocate, is free. So, if a signup gives away free concessions, or even a BOGO deal, than I can get on board with that. A discount alone -- just makes gullible people buy stuff that they probably weren't even going to buy in the first place.
The other reason these movie plans aren't great is because it's only for 1 person. Who goes to the movies by themselves? These theaters need to come up with a plan for 2, or a family plan.
Otherwise, the plan should just be a discount off of all purchases, including tickets.
