Just in case we needed yet another option for using the AmEx Shop Small $5 off $10 offer on gift cards, Reddit user Bubbles_Borges reports that Mygiftcardsplus.com also triggers the Shop Small offer.
Useful bit of information either to use up the Shop Small offers, or if you are anyone making a Mygiftcardsplus purchase for one of their deals. Mygiftcardsplus is Swagbuck’s gift card arm, and offers cashback in the form of Swagbucks. They sell lots of top brand gift cards to places like eBay, Home Depot, and Best Buy.
Fluz and Egifter and Samsung Pay gift card app also trigger the shop small offer.

anyone happen to know if doordash/ubereats/grubhub work to trigger? I hope so since they support small businesses so it would only make sense… chownow works.
doordash doesn’t. i made that mistake. it appears as doordash with the name of the restaurant after that. i believe that i also asked amex and they said that the purchase must be made directly w the merchant.

If I have an Amex gold card and a registered serve card (i.e. both have my name and social), can I redeem this offer with both cards? I was able to add the offer.
I am specifically asking about a credit card account and a prepaid account, and not two prepaid accounts for example (serve and bluebird).
Yes. I redeemed the Shop Small offer on an Amex Gold card and a Bluebird card. Both cards also have authorized user and family account cards that get their own Shop Small rebates as well.

I maxed out shop small offer on my amex BBP and then noticed the same offer on my serve card. Haven’t tried it yet but I see no reason why it should not work.
it does work. on my amex cc, this 1 restaurant always results in an immediate email alerting me of the credit. but, on bb, i didn’t get any alert. the credit appeared a few days later, though. i am not using bb for this anymore bc i’m afraid that they’ll clawback. the tos says that you can only have it on 1 card. i thought, “ok, just 1 bb card”. but there’s some terms that refer to points—this would only apply to amex cc. so, i think that it’s only 1 card, either bb, serve, or cc.
I added it on 3 out of 4 bluebird cards

I saw this yesterday and purchased a $25 GC that had 500 SB back. My first time using either this website or swagbucks. With an hour of purchase swagbucks had deactivated my account. Got the GC fine though and the mygiftplus.com account is fine. No idea why I got deactivated by Swagbucks (no funny business, no VPN, etc). Ah well whatever. That said I can confirm I got the SBS email from Amex on this purchase.
My Square card reader worked, too. I have many AU cards and received max $50 for each card. Too bad they don’t allow offers to be added to accounts with same name on the card anymore.
Or you could just use at ACTUAl small biz. They need our money people.
