Are you sure this is "new" and "2024"? As far as I can tell, Apple Watch SE (2nd gen) was released September 16, 2022.
I went off the Amazon listing "date first available: September 11, 2024", but it looks like I'm mistaken. I'll update, thanks.
He probably means new as in not used.
And the "(2024)" is ... ???
Personally don't like watches that need to be charged every 2 days.
Will wait for an affordable solar powered smartwatch that doesn't take 6 hours to charge..
Maybe in a couple years there would be one.
My tough solar from 2015 still meets all my needs at this point...just not fancy.
It only cost me $35 and I don't even need to pay for replacement battery.

My Series 6’s battery health is getting low (understandable as I’ve been using it nonstop for 4 years).
The SE though (despite being the more recent Apple Watch) is missing some functionality that my older Series 6 has. $150 though… that’s a great prize. But… maybe I can get another year of use out of my old battery.

Check out trade-in with Apple (or others) on the S6. I had a S3 couple years back before upgrading to the S6 (Costco BF deal) and Apple gave me nearly $100 gift card for the old one. Only had to return the actual watch part, keeping band and charger.
Love DoC but calling this 2024 is misleading. The most recent SE is generation 2, released in 2022. They haven’t released an updated SE 3 yet, although it was expected for October 2024 (who knows at this point tbough). They did have a “pre order” for SE this year about 75 days ago but that was for new watch bands, but not the actual device itself. Buyer beware! I’d wait until the update.

Fixed now. I misunderstood/relied on the Amazon listing which indicated a release date of 2024.
