[Expired] New U.S. Mint Deal On March 24th ($25+ Moneymaker & $100 Spend)

Deal has ended, view more U.S. Mint deals by clicking here.

There is yet another profitable U.S. Mint coin deal coming up on Thursday, 3/24/21 at noon ET.

Cost is $95 per coin set (limit 1) with $4.95 shipping (or pay more for insured shipping). You should be able to lock in a profit of $25.  We always recommend locking in a deal before these goes on sale with a reputable buyer to avoid any risk (keep in mind there always seems to be a bit of astroturfing in the comments for different purchasers so do your own research). Others prefer to take a risk and see what the coins sell for after they sell out. You can find what cards code as a cash advance/purchase in this dedicated post. This deal is slightly different in that it doesn’t ship until July 14, 2022 and you won’t be charged until it ships.

Hat tip to MPD

  • Any coin dealers still looking for 2023 Morgan and Peace dollars? PFS and Pinehurst are not taking any more. I opted out Sunday night, but they still shippped. Can I refuse the shipment?

  • Got a notice this morning saying my order was cancelled.

Subject: Items in your order USM******** have been canceled
One or more items in your order USM******** have been cancelled. If you did not request a cancellation, it was cancelled because the item(s) are no longer in our inventory and are not available for backorder.
We apologize for the inconvenience. If you paid by credit card, gift card, or PayPal you will not be charged.

MPD also sent an email out an hour ago asking for the status, so presumably they are aware that this is happening.

  • Got my payment and was my first time using MPD. Would recommend and do business with again. Payment was lightning fast.

3/24 - Paid for coin and sent in Google form to lock in price
7/13 - Received email from Mint that coins were about to ship out
    7/17 - Coin shipped
    7/21 - Received coin
7/25 - Requested and received free FedEx shipping label via Google form
7/27 - Coin shipped out (put shipping label right over Mint label, no extra box needed)
    7/29 - Delivered
7/30 - Payment received via PayPal

  • Any buyers for today's release? 22EG
All my usual buyers have declined due to demand

  • Looks like there was no deal by PFS/Pinehurst/etc and I was able to easily obtain a coin along with a few other collector friends of mines too!

      • It's a "collector coin" for the sake of collecting, however, it's not a valuable collectors coin as it's part of the 'Commemorative Coin Program'. Typically coins in the 'American Eagle Coin Program' are the one that are sought after and scalped.

I'm curious what deal DoC was referring to in profiting $25 off this coin. As of right now, the coin is still available for US Mint pre-sale despite eBay having sold "pre-sale" of this coin for $200-240.

        • The mint household limit is 1 as opposed to 3 on most coin deals. Many people do not have unlimited addresses to order this deal to. As for why most coin dealers are passing is probably because they just did a huge deal for the Gold Eagle sets and got burned recently on the Morgans so are taking a little break from some small coins.

        • If you read the original post above it will point you to the $25 deal.

eBay coin pre-sales are often complete bullshit. This coin is not shipping until July, can still be bought online through April, and someone is buying them on eBay above that price? It is not legitimate.

          • Just saw your other comment. I don't think many readers refer to the "Hat tip to..." at the bottom corner of the post.

I'm curious who the buyer is as PFS/Pinehurst/etc weren't interested. Based on the email name, it sounds like the buyer may be CoinsPerDay which is the first I've heard of them after being in the coin space for a while. Seems stranger that they're using a @gmail.com.

          • if you read his blog, it's not him it's some dealer he works with. i have done all my recent deals with him no issues. the only complaint people have made is some coins that he asked people to cancel after waiting several months last year. given that nobody else is buying i would lock in with him.

          • Yes, it is strange. I personally do not do business with @gmail buyers. Not to say they are scams, but I have done ~20 deals with PineHurst with no problem. and prefer buyers with established businesses that I can verify. It takes some of the risk away
