  • I know the Amex Biz Gold gets 4x at Newegg. The Instacart purchase appears to show up as computer hardware/software on the Amex statement. Does anyone have experience buying these towards a SUB on the card? Is it risky, or did everything go through OK?

  • I have 8x$50 Instagram gift cards and 7x$25 Instacart gift cards if anyone on here is interested in purchasing them from me at a discount. I comment pretty regularly on here and been reading the site for over 10 years. Feel free to reply to this comment if interested.

      • @guest_1673633 In the spirit of this post, definitely 20% which matches the above deal.. another 5% off since no credit card cashback and buying from Internet 'stranger' (so 25% discount?). Feel free to reach out: happyrefs @ gmail

Probably TMI but I'm having abdominal surgery soon so might be a bit slow to reply but will definitely reply. thanks!

          • @guest_1682568 yes! I've had a few readers e-mail me about the Instacart gift cards. In full transparency.. I want to add that I got these digital gift card does from me and my family doing the recent deals on Tiicker.. where you bought stock and then got rewarded with gift card digital codes redeemable in the Instacart app for gift card credit. I'm just thinking what would be the easiest way to verify to the buyer that the codes are legit? and also how can I verify payment before sending the codes to the buyer? I haven't came up with a perfect solution yet so therefore I haven't sold the cards to anyone. Ideally, there would be a way to verify the codes before I send them and also verify the payment. I don't really want to take PayPal because I'm already near the $600 yearly threshold and trying to stay before $600 on all payment apps. I'm still interested in selling though. If anyone has a good solution to this problem please let me know. sadly, just had an abdominal emergency surgery and got almost a $25,000+ bill out of pocket so I can't afford to risk sending the codes without verifying payment first :( or maybe if it's someone who's a long-time DoC reader who I know pretty well from here.. then I can do it.

  • I still have $300 newegg gift card, I don't know what to buy on newegg.com, any recommendation ?

      • Yes, I know it. I check newegg.com. I don't know how to use my newegg giftcard on newegg.com, sounds everything is more expensive than other stores.

  • Hopefully Amazon will follow suit with the same discount soon. I have a stockpile of Amazon GC credits (purchased at around a 8%-15% discount) that I'd like to convert to Instacart.

      • @guest_1430623 I should. I don't have that much in GC balances...enough that I can go through it on groceries in the next two months. I haven't done my research on buyers groups....will have to figure out if they reimburse sales tax.

        • buying groups have you ship directly to them. They are in states without sales tax, so there's no need to reimbuse sales tax. I use buyformeretail and mys (mys has more deals but a lot slower to pay. bfmr pays next day via ACH)
