Our Verdict
Really good bonus, looks like you could just add $10,000 in funds a few days before you hit the 6 month anniversary and you’d still hit the bonus requirements. Because the requirements are so easy to meet and there is no monthly fees to worry about we will add this to the best business checking accounts. They have also offered a bonus of $300 in the past for personal accounts as well.

Did anyone receive the bonus? I opened my account in mid-May 2019, transferred in $10k in early November. Still hasn't received the bonus till today. Called the local branch I opened the account, and was told that I have to wait.
Similar story here, haven't received the bonus yet. However, I talked to the manager of the branch at which I opened the account and was assured that the bonus would be posted sometime in February. In my case, this would be after the 60 day deadline for posting mentioned in the promo terms, but I'm not going to raise a fuss so long as I get it this month.
Has anyone received this bonus yet? If so, how long after your 6 month (180 day) anniversary did it post?
Yes, I believe I received my bonus in the last few days as my available balance reflects $300 more than the previous available balance. However, there is no transaction reflected and it has been like this for the last few days. In my case, I believe they posted it exactly on the 60th day after reaching 180 days by simply adjusting my available balance. I am curious when I get my statement at the end of the month to see whether it is properly reflected there.
I still haven't got mine.
Haven’t received the bonus. The banker has escalated to the administration branch to look up when the bonus will be credited.
Any updates on this? When was Day 180 for you?
no reply so far.
I wonder if this deal expired because the bank met its sign-up goals or because they realized they couldn't justify the cost. I also wonder what services and features the account itself offered. A long-term account with checking fees is going to eat away at these types of incentives. But some of the features can definitely come in handy too. I'm a big fan of my checking account services with Zelle available directly through my phone banking app. https://www.rhinebeckbank.com/
Link is dead. Called branch and was told the business checking offer ended.
There's still an offer for streaming services over 24 months, but with a limited list of what qualifies, looks like bonuses from Columbia Bank NJ have come to an end.
Is this expired? Link going to PNF
In branch only?
Is this in branch only, are can it be opened over the phone?
DP-
1. Chex - Yes, not sensitive in branch. 25+ in the last 10 months. Also, no hard pull.
2. Bonus - verified with CSR that you just need a 10K balance on your 180th day (6 month anniversary) from account opening. Whether or not you need to keep a 10K balance after this until the bonus posts is up for debate. I will keep the balance until bonus posts since it takes up to another 60 days from the 6 month anniversary date to verify/post the bonus.
3. No ETF. Business Free account has no minimum balance or fees
4. Instant issue debit card. Overdraft declined by default
5. Starter checks (not generic checks) and 1st box of checks free
6. Online mobile banking is not instant. Takes 1-2 business days after online enrollment form.
7. Expiration: No date written but their website promotes this bonus with, "Small Business Month." So maybe this bonus will expire 5/31?
Were you asked for documents related to your "business"?
I was not. Call the branch ahead of time to be sure since each branch is different.
@will Post needs to be corrected. It's not "60 day anniversary." It's the 6 month anniversary date, so 180th day.
Then bonus paid within 60 days after that.
I called the branch and home office . They said the ten thousand has to be kept for six months.
Thanks, let me fix
