Avoiding Fees

Monthly Fees

Flex checking has no monthly fees to worry about.

Early Account Termination Fee

I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule

Our Verdict

Looks to be a pretty good bonus, always nice when you can at least get some of the bonus without a direct deposit. Will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.

    • How many DD's did you need to do ?
offer link and this page hasn't been updated with the new terms.
since May 2024 $200 bonus offer required $500 recurring DD within 60 days?

  • How long does it take to get the $50 for ordering the debit card and $50 for registering for online banking?

      • Yeah, I read that post. It has been two weeks and I do not see anything yet. Do you recommend calling them or waiting longer?

        • I recommend contacting them right away to make sure that the promo was attached to your account.

BTW, did you end up trying to stack the referral with the public offer? If so, maybe that has something to do with the issue.

          • I did call them and it seems that I made one of my first mistakes, by not reading the promotion correctly. I have to make direct deposits instead of enrolling in digital banking. I have a few ideas on what I might use for the DD, however, I'm wondering what did you use for a DD?

  • It has been around a week and I still do not see the bonus for ordering the debit card and enrolling in digital banking. How long should I wait until I contact them?

  • I need around 2.5k spend to get a SUB for Chase Ink and I set my cash advance limit to $100. Should I see if this bank would code as a purchase? I see that Bofa and a couple of other cards code this as a purchase.

    • Sure, why not? As long as you charge more than the cash limit on the card, you have no risk.

      • Thanks for the helpful replies. I see a few comments in this thread that you do not get cc funding if the account is not instantly approved. Do you think it matters if I apply on Sunday or Monday to make it more likely that I'm instantly approved? Looking forward to your reply.

        • I'm not sure but I always try to apply for new accounts during business hours. The reason is because I've ran into several app issues and had to contact CS. That is a general statement and not regarding Visions specifically.

BTW, I just checked my records and saw that my account was approved automatically but my credit card didn't end up getting charged due to some kind of issue.

          • Thanks for this advice. The application was a bit clunky and I did see the "V" spinning when doing the application and I did not see a review page to verify that the checking account was opened. At first only the savings account was opened, however, I called them and they opened the Flex Checking account. I did get the CC Funding to go through to their Savings account though. Definitely one of the most clunky applications I have seen.

    • There's no guarantee but the banker that opened my account assured me that they do stack. Be the DP that you want to see. 😉
