The Offer

The Fine Print

- Limit 1 per customer
Our Verdict
Better than the $5 off deal at Staples. If you buy a $200 Visa gift card and a $100 Visa gift card, the total will come out to $297.90; or buy two $200 Visa gift cards for a total of $398.90. Use a card like the INK Cash/Plus which earns 5x at office supply stores. Dosh offers 2% back at Office Depot/Max, though the terms exclude gift cards from earning.

@chucksithe @will This deal is now back from 7/25-7/31 according to GCGalore.
FYI, was just able to use $200 Grocery Everywhere (BIN 4912 77) cards to reload at WM money center without even having to split it into sub-$99 swipes.
Thinking about doing the $400 this time. We are falling out of the Platinum Rewards with BOA and this could allow me more on my next redemption on my TR card before we hit the wall.
Bought 2 cards today. one variable($20-$200, $6.95 fee) charged at $200 and one fixed of $100 ($5.95 fee). trigged $15 discount. Good deal.
My local ODP is closing. The $15 off did not come up so I asked the manager if he would manually apply...said he couldn't since the store is closing.
Been out of the game for a bit, stunned to find almost all OfficeMax and OfficeDepot stores are closed by me.
Had 5 down to 3...
Getting my Chase Ink in the mail today/tomorrow but just found out no Depot/Max stores within a 40 minute drive of me, damn! Only Staples is close.
Good timing as my Ink card just passed the yearly rollover. My local PITA Office Max didn't even ask for ID this time.
I’m new here. Can I add these Office Depot Visa cards to a Venmo account?
No
Thanks, what about PayPal account?
No
How does one liquidate the funds?
No.
Pay estimated taxes to the IRS or to your local state.
Buy an Amex gift card and then add it to an Amex Serve as a credit card and withdraw to your bank account.
I had a Bluebird account 5 yrs ago but it got shut down due to "abusive" activity and they probably won't issue me a new one. Would I be eligible for an Amex Serve? I have never had one of those.
@guest_1175023 You can try but you are probably banned from Serve as well. I had what you had except in reverse where I had a Serve card that got banned. I haven't able to sign up for a Bluebird since.
Safest way is to use it to pay insurance, taxes, other bills and living expenses. You are breaking even just on the purchase plus if you have a card with better rewards at an office supply store you can make a small profit vs just paying those bills with your card.
I just found out that the everywhere cards don't work on Amazon payment or paying my utility company. My utility company usually accepts any non-amex credit cards, so this was shocking to me.
No sign in my local OD, but worked fine at check out
Yes, I had the same experience.
