- MyUSA Credit Union is offering a $200 bonus when you open a new checking account and complete the following requirements:

The Fine Print
- Membership and account eligibility requirements must be met.
- You must open and maintain a Main Share Membership Savings Account with a balance of $5.00 to open a Checking Account.
- Offer eligible only for new consumer checking accounts with accountholders age 18 or over.
- Other account types such as business, estate, trust, guardian, rep payee, etc. are not eligible to participate.
- Offer not available for existing MyUSA Checking Accounts, those whose accounts have been closed in good standing within 12 months, or those closed with a negative balance at any time.
- $200 bonus reward for opening a new MyUSA Checking Account will be deposited into member’s Savings Account within 120 days of new checking account opening.
- Limit one bonus reward per member account.
- MyUSA reserves the right to reclaim bonus payment if checking account is closed prior to 210 days after account opening.
- Bonus is considered taxable income and recipient is responsible for reporting the amount to the IRS. Offer subject to end without notice

They don't seem to be offering this signup bonus any longer. I cant find any mention of it on their site.
OOS - NY. I went through the process and opened and funded the account. All seemed fine. Then I got a call asking where I live and I said NY. Was told I was ineligible since I don't live/work/worship/study in OH. I guess I shouldn't have picked up the phone? I don't know if they would have put it through anyway if they didn't get through to me by phone.
That's really odd and unfair that they opened your account when you put NY on the app and then closed it later. Are you going to complain?
I don't think so, I clearly don't meet the eligibility requirements (although it is frustrating that their application process never brought that up). But I have the $500 CIP funding as pending, so I'm interested to see what happens if that goes through.

@2 I would update that it is a soft pull and they do pull Chex.
Somewhat sensitive online (I was denied with 20/12, 10/3 online but approved in branch after multiple visits)
Any Chex denial is normally “after the fact”, a day or 2 later

Yes, I have received it myself within 2 days of notifying them. You may have to call them to get it but it posts within 1-2 days of enrollment.
