Our Verdict

You are locking up $50,000 for 90 days to get this bonus. Overall it still could be a nice deal: if we assume you’re forgoing a 5.5% interest rate account, you’ll lose around $700 in interest and get $2,000 instead. Another way of looking at it is that you’ll be earning around 16% interest on the 90 days that the funds are locked up.

And who knows – maybe you’ll like the bank and decide to keep them long term as well for your business banking needs.

  • i was told fund must be in the account by 4/15/24. Any one fund after 4/15/24 got $2000 bonus?

  • Opened via email around March 8, 2024. I am within a their footprint location. Deposited 50,500 on April 3, 2204 and made 10 small debit card purchases the following weeks. Just checked today and saw $2,000 bonus posted on July 3, 2024!

      • I’m curious about others payout timeline as well. It looks like DC was 1/16 to 5/21, for a 126 day payout. I’m approaching this as well and waiting, hoping to not have to file CFPB

  • They accept OOS. I called them and they are sending over documents for me to open an account via docuSign.

        • I don't remember, i may have even contacted their generic CSR line first and was transferred. They only got 5 branches and HQ - call each until someone says yes or email them

          • I simply called one of the numbers and said I saw you have a promotion online, and I have a business and would like to open an account and asked if they accepted OOS and they said yes and the branch manger sent me a new application pdf via email. Id keep calling around.

      • Thanks, particularly for the chex part. Interesting bank as they offer accounts for cannabis businesses and offer prayer sessions.

  • Originally used online 'contact us' form to inquire if they did phone/online applications. I was sent the application forms via e-mail, returned them filled out for "llc' as I thought having forms might increase my odds. I was told I'd have to bring the physical LLC docs into a branch per their compliance officer. These were provided in person (to a different person as it was a local MO branch) the next business day.

Denied next business day due to chex. I see 1 inquiry from a couple days ago before I provided physical docs, I will monitor to see if another was done today since it was a different person.

chex at time of 1st pull:
    1/1
    2/3
    5/6
    10/12

if chex was pulled again today, you would add 2 (1 for regent, 1 for service cu) so 3/1 etc.

  • This looks like one where you have to have a real biz. Anyone tried applying with a 'business'?
