Patreon Class Action Settlement ($7.25 Million Settlement, $35-$175 Per Claimant)

It’s alleged that Patreon disclosed its users’ identities and video-viewing preferences without consent in violation of federal law. Patreon has denied any wrongdoing but agreed to pay $7.25 million. The class action settlement site can be viewed here.

Who’s Eligible

If you had Patreon account and accessed videos on Patreon.com while you had a Facebook account between April 1, 2016 and September 23, 2024 you’re eligible to participate in this class action.

How Much?

The settlement pool is $7.25 million and it is estimated that each eligible claimant will receive between $35 and $175

Important Dates

  • The deadline to submit a claim for payment from the Settlement is January 1, 2025.

  • The deadline to opt out of the Settlement is January 1, 2025.

  • The deadline to object to the Settlement is January 1, 2025.
