It’s alleged that Patreon disclosed its users’ identities and video-viewing preferences without consent in violation of federal law. Patreon has denied any wrongdoing but agreed to pay $7.25 million. The class action settlement site can be viewed here.
Who’s Eligible
If you had Patreon account and accessed videos on Patreon.com while you had a Facebook account between April 1, 2016 and September 23, 2024 you’re eligible to participate in this class action.
How Much?
The settlement pool is $7.25 million and it is estimated that each eligible claimant will receive between $35 and $175

Just got mine last week (10/31), landed in spam. Maybe a new wave got sent as we should double check!
I have both-diff email- no luck calling the number so I wrote to the Defendant’s attorneys with facts te date began at each and that I watched vids on Patreon and got a reply saying admin said eligible and sent me the required id for filing a claim

Isn't that more Onlyfans than Patreon? Patreon is the one all the YouTubers use because Google takes too much of their ad revenue.
I have had a Facebook and Patreon account (and have held a paid subscription) and no email. Not in spam either.

Lol I created my FB back when you had to get invited and use your .edu email. Maybe email is how the thieves tied the viewing history to a real person and since we didn't have the same email on both accounts we weren't hurt by this?
I didn't get an email notice and there doesn't seem to be a way to submit a claim without having been targeted.
