- For new processing of PayPal Here card-present transactions: 1.9% of the transaction amount + $0.10 fixed fee
Our Verdict
This was sent out to some via email, but it looks to be a public offer for anyone. I was even able to enroll my personal PayPal account in the offer (with no plans on using it).
Overall could be a savings of $500 for business owners who process $50,000 in payments (assuming you usually pay 2.9%). To be clear: the lower fees are NOT for ‘receive money’ transactions; this is only for payment processing with ordinary swipe or input card information transactions.

On either of the accounts I enrolled, I never got the confirmation email that was supposed to come a few days later.
I’ve yet to do the math to see if the 1.9% took effect.
Can you please clarify, you did this on your personal card yet it said business only and said you'll only get the deal if you qualify so won't you not get it?
Also what payments is this good for, if I pay someone $1,000 for an item I bought they pay 2.9% but will now pay 1.9%?

Why's that
Paypal is MS UNfriendly. You will get banned quicker than you can say Paypal.
been using it a few times a year to meet average 3K requirement with probably 1500 of it to my same friend for 5+ yrs, doubt it.
ah well that's quite different sending it to a trusted friend. Payments to yourself is what gets you the stick.
if sending $1.5k to P2 with the same address / household 1 time, or $500 of 3 times within 3 mos, would it likely be ok, or... may get the stick?

Looks like they kept some wiggle room by saying "if you qualify"? I did accept on my personal and do plan to use it along with discover 5%. Thoughts?

Doesn’t seem so, excludes “PayPal wallet” which is using the send money feature.
So don't "send to friend" but pay for a service.
Does this work for receiving eBay payments through paypal?

you could send the qr code to the buyer. i tested it a few wks ago by scanning the qr code from my computer screen.
Is the “Goods & Services” seller fee in addition to any cred card fees? Thus, until September 30, you pay only credit card fees (if the customer uses a credit card)?
it sounds like it's the same. i used the qr code to pay my pp acct via cc and paid no fee.
