Plastiq began again accepting American Express cards as payment method. After stopping Amex payments in February 2023, they’ve now restored that option beginning today, October 30, 2023, per the support article. You can also see this page for a nifty guide on which cards can be used for which payments.

Made a large payment to a contractor using Plastiq on my business plat and met the SUB requirement. Points didn't post after the statement close and payment, and after chatting, the rep says the Plastiq payment is not counting towards the minimum spend. Is this new?
Does Amex still work for Rent. Last year I was told landlord had to have a business account for it to work. Anyone been successful in the past 2 months ?
The high delivery fee pretty much kills my interest of using Plastiq. $0.99 on ACH delivery is insane. $1.49 on paper delivery is also on the high end. If they lower the delivery fee or at least allow splitting payments to a few cards, I may come back and use Plastiq.
i dont mind the small fees because it allows me approx 24k of extra spend per year which i wouldnt have to complete any other way
Yes. Different people use Plastiq differently. Personally my payment amount are usually small, from $100-$200 (b/c I use prepaid cards). $0.99 or $1.49 is almost an extra 1%.
Which prepaid cards work?

Looks like they have now started adding a "Delivery Fee" of $1.49 for the paper check.
if you use plastiq on amex one time for low amount, you will be fine, if you do it twice or more a month for large amount., not only you won't get points and claw backs whats earned, you will be shut down and banned for card term reward abuse.
What's wrong with Paypal? The only bill I could pay there was my utility COMED bill with a credit card or gift card but now it shows error and erasing caches cookies, logging out and in doesn't work.

I was warning about using amex card on plastiq to earn points or meet spend req. regarding the paypal, i am talking about paypal billpay. the only bill i could pay was comed utility bill. it didn't work for days. right now, it magically worked.

Does Plastiq accept Visa CCs? In particular the Ink Cash visa CC?
Yes. You can check their FAQ for allowed payments by card type or bank.
