  • One of the purposes of the current construction at DCA is to combine and enlarge the areas within the TSA security zone. For the time being, however, there are four separate security zones.

  • Does anyone know if they let you access Terminal B/C, if you are flying Southwest out of Terminal A?

      • Unfortunate indeed. Much like the EWR (Newark) model then.... had the misfortune to fly through there recently. With a near two hour layover, figured (wrongly) I had pahlenty of time to negotiate whatever from one terminal to the next..... (and that the several PP options there would be a welcome respite for a weary traveler. But what an idiotic, New York style nightmare. First, to even use the trains between terminals, you have to go outside security -- either that, or take the city style buses -- complete with all sorts of delays and "stuff".... then find the various participating establishments (some inside, some not, tsa) ..... Signs for newbies? Fuhgetaboutit. And then you're left wondering, will I have enough time to jump through all the time-killing hurdles to get back to next flight?(and will the bus drivers be around, or not? and even if they are, will they be able to "move"?)..... what a joke. nope, won't be flying through Newark again any time soon. (DCA is physically a much smaller airport.... but sounds like toooo many hurdles there too)

  • Can you use the credit to pay tips? For example, you have $20 bill and give $4 tip and pay nothing out of your pocket?
