Priority Pass Adds Lufthansa Business Lounge To Detroit MI Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)

Priority Pass has added the Lufthansa Business Lounge to Detroit MI Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). This is the first lounge Priority Pass members have access to at this airport. The opening hours are as follows:

  • 05:00 – 18:30 Monday – Saturday
  • 11:00 – 18:30 Sunday

Priority Pass members do not have access to the lounge from 13:00 until 16:00 daily. The number of guests you can bring in will depend on the type of Priority Pass membership you have (full comparison here). Priority Pass has been added new restaurant options at a quick pace recently:

  • This is a solid addition for the NT. Sure most of the action is in Macnamera and if you are there hopefully you have Sky Club access. However, for those times you have to visit the barren wasteland to the north, this is a welcome respite.

  • This is the best news ever. DTW is my home airport and anyone who travels through North Terminal knows the options there are Mcdonalds to Coney Island.

That's it. Nothing else is even open in the morning. And the afternoon isn't much better. Welcome PP

    • No. You need to go outside where the hotel and rental car shuttles congregate. There is a shuttle van that will take you to the McNamara Terminal where Delta flights land and depart, It also houses a Westin Hotel.

I am unaware of any airside connection.

Not advisable if the layover is short.

      • It's not even clear that you'd be let through security at the North Terminal with a Delta boarding pass even if you were somehow convinced this was a good idea.

  • So no access from 1 to 4 everyday? Clearly they want to keep it exclusively for Lufthansa business class travelers on the 4pm FRA flight. But hope they keep the food/service at the same level for the rest of the hours.

  • Cool but Delta dominates DTW, I can't remember the last time I was in any terminal other than A (McNamara). More options the better though.

    • Literally every airline EXCEPT Delta is in the North terminal, so if you ever fly Southwest, American, etc, this is great. Granted, yes, Delta does dominate the market, so another option in the McNamara terminal would be great, but this is still a fantastic first step. I should actually be able to get some value out of Priority Pass now.
