[Expired] Publix: $10 off $100 Mastercard Gift Card

Deal has expired, view more Publix deals by clicking here.

First deal has expired, one expiring on 12/22 is obviously still valid.

According to DeauxBois if you’ve already done the deal that expires on 12/15 you should see another $10 off deal that expires on 12/22.

  • Not showing up in my Publix account at all, the 12/22 one, that is. I was able to use the 12/15 one previously.

  • Remember it is very much BUYER BEWARE with any Prepd MC issued by US Bank. First off you have liquidation issues at WM. Secondly (and this has happened a bunch recently) for no rhyme or reason some (not all) cards go into an "unactivated state" and you must call in to the # on the back of the card to essentially tell them "yeah that card I just bought for $200...why don't you go ahead and activate it". My advice should you choose to risk it and buy these from Publix or OD/OM, after purchase immediately call in to check the balance. If (rather than telling you the balance) the automated system sends you to a live rep...go ahead and tell the rep that you do, in fact, want the card to be activated (seems silly). They will then put you on hold as they talk to "internal" and they'll come back on the line and tell you that the dog & pony show is over and you can now use the card. After going through this the past few days, I'm thinking that I'll just wait for Visa deals at OD/OM (like the current one) or Staples no fee deals which (for some of us) is very convenient.

  • Too bad this expires 12/22, could catch 10% effective cash back with Discover It card next quarter. I'm sure it will be offered few more times between Jan-Mar

  • I loaded the 12/15 expiration coupon last week, and didn't purchase a gift card. The 12/22 expiration coupon has now appeared in my account, and I loaded that, too. If I buy the gift cards by 12/15, will I get one $10 discount or two?

  • Got the 12/15 and 12/22 today.. only had the 12/15 loaded into my coupons, made the purchase at customer service, then added the 12/22 coupon and purchased another, worked without a problem. Make sure to tell the service desk or cashier to let you put your phone # in before they total the order so your coupon will apply. I did this several months ago and it didnt initially work, then I saw someone comment about this and its worked without a problem the 3 times I have purchased since.

  • While you’re at it, use the digital coupon for the free 12 oz Promised Land milk. Kids will enjoy a chocolate milk treat :)

  • Thanks for the update on the 12/22 coupons. Love that readers come back to old posts and update in comments DP’s so Chuck and Will can repost updated info.

On a personal note, did the previous coupon with no issues, grabbed this one again.

  • Will - this coupon has begun reappearing in accounts that have already completed the offer, but the new coupon comes with an expiration date of 12/22. Essentially, if you already used the deal with an expiration of 12/15, check again and you should be able to see the same offer again, but now expiring 12/22.

Strange that they'd have two of the same coupons with overlapping dates, but I'll take it.

    • Confirmed this shows up as a coupon. If I am not mistaken the previous one showed up on the weekly ad, this one doesnt. But if you go to the coupon section in the Publix app it shows up with the 12/22 date.

      Thank you.

  • There is also a $10 off $50 or more in happy cards or sephora or aeropostale gift cards and $50 in groceries in all publix locations.

So basically you need to buy a $50 gift card AND $50 in groceries to get the $10 off.
