Often when I haven't been to Publix in a few weeks, I'll see an offer for $5 off $30 or $2 off $10 when I open the Publix app.
Interesting. I consistently get $2-3 off $100 every 3-4 weeks.
I may be wrong but I think Publix has always had $5 off when you sign up for an account with them.

yes, pretty much "always", but the offer usually disappears for a couple days towards the end of each month.
this offer also requires one-time-passcode cell phone number verification. the number can only be used once.; publix keeps tabs on the number.

IIRC you can use VOIP numbers like Google Voice for the one time code, doesn't have to be cell.

Yes as I saw elsewhere publix is BOGO or NOGO.
