this website is a disgusting way to treet good customers of Walgreens and AARP. It doesn't work and wastes your valuable time.
wat
Got the receipt when I purchased Walgreens brand instead of Allegra 180 HOWEVER can not find where to use the code to renew my membership. FYI I joined because their Medicare Secure Horizons plan was recommended to me by a consultant when I had to sign up for it. BEST healthcare plan EVER.
It is worth the mail.
I need the code and you need the website. I have the link to the website if you care to share the code needed. I made the required $15 purchase, (Actually $23) but can't find the paper that printed out. I do have the website and I'd be happy to share. Thanks Berta

Thanks! it worked.
I got the 15 dollars purchase but where do you register it
Lost too much time on the e site. Mail in the form as the e site does not take the free year extension without also extending the paid extension.
We are a little funny the way we complain. Lol Walgreen's has pretty good stuff.

Wanted to share with the Doc community here in case there are frustrations because this deal is nice, but qualifications are totally convoluted.
This deal works, but you have no clue WTF is a WG Wellness product. I went to a WG and nobody knew wtf I was talking about. Very typical of any store with any promo. Staff never know jack except to deny you for buying GC with CC (for my store anyway). This community is always smarter. Just remember that.
Anyway, so the safest bet is to buy everything with the WG label on it called "Well @ WG". Anything else may not qualify and I wasted way too much time on this. But even then, I didnt get jack from the receipt so I returned it all and tried another group of crap totaling $15.
This time it worked, but its CRITICAL to not look at your receipt. The AARP offer doesnt even show up there. It shows up on a separate print out coupon thing. Its just a small slip. You can easily miss it or the cashier can easily NOT give it to you because it prints from SEPARATE machine. FYI.
So when you go to WG, ask to get all the receipts and print outs and if they dont even stock it with paper or the machine is broken then return everything and try another WG.
oh yea. btw. all WG products are a rip off. everything is at least 30% overpriced. only the extreme couponer will know how to work the system with all the WG CVS and RA with massive savings and discounts. If you are one of those people, you can get a lot of cheap stuff for $15 on top of the AARP offer. Unfortunately, I dont have time for that and I just bought crap that is way way cheaper on Amazon or Walmart, but its "Free" I guess with the AARP membership.
I told my wife that Walgreens is for the rich and famous and since I'm not either
we paid 15 Dollars on sell $2.00 dollars off $17.00 +for a bottle of WG Acetaminophen 500mg 500 count at Walmart twin pack of 200 each 500mg $3.82 cents . go figure .
Joined recently to get the AT&T wireless 10% discount. Paid for itself in the first month. Quick look at the dental plan seems that it is a better deal than what is available on the open market but I have to do more research.
they will hound you with tons of emails and snail mails if you sign up. I did it a few years ago and couldn't get the emails to stop! They sell your info to everyone!! That's how they make up the loss. BTW, they are more expensive on every item they offer including all the medicare plans/auto insurance etc. Their monthly magazine has no info that we already know.
I just bought over $15 worth of Wagreens brand nasal rinse products and there's nothing on the receipt about the aarp offer. Do we need to specifically inform the cashier about the offer and request the print out?
I think I'll head back in a bit and ask about it. Will report back what they tell me.
Not sure, haven't done the offer myself. Let us know what you find out.
Great catch, thanks for the alert. (and note that this works on extending current memberships too)
AARP discounts have been quite terrific for us of late, most especially with hotels (ihg) budget car rentals (via expedia) and lots of restaurants. (outback, etc.) Only wish it worked for Amtrak. (grrrr..... the only place I miss my cancelled aaa membership)
