[Expired] (Q4 Spend Offers) Check You Chase Cards For 10% Back On Gas & More Offers

(Reposting 10/2/22: it’s worth checking your cards now that the new month has started to see if the new offers are showing.)

The Offer

Check all your offers at Chase.com/mybonus

  • Chase is sending out an offer on various credit cards to get higher rewards on select categories beginning October 1st and through December 31, 2022, up to $1,500 in combined purchases. Sample offers:
    • Get 10x/10% cash back at Gas Stations
    • Get 5x/5% cash back at Gas Stations
    • Get 3x/3% cash back at grocery stores and restaurants
    • 5x/5% at grocery stores and Amazon

These offers are showing for a lot of people on their Amazon, Hyatt, Marriott, United, Southwest, and IHG cards. We haven’t yet heard of bonus spend offers on Chase’s own non-branded cards.

Our Verdict

10%/10x on gas is showing for a lot of people, a really sweet offer. I’d make sure not to use up the $1,500 allotment on the other bonus categories in the offer since they seem to combine toward the $1,500 limit which is best saved for gas. Personally I’m still showing an old Q3 spend offer on my card, I’ll check again on October 1st to see if the new offer shows.

  • Interesting data point. So my United card had 5x at grocery and Amazon, and a purchase at Whole Foods showed up as an Amazon.com purchase at the point summary up top.

    Obviously, WF is a grocery store, so I would've gotten 5x either way, but something interesting to re-test in the future if I have a promo with Amazon only.

  • Has anyone had the issue of Marriott bonus points not posting from the ritz Carlton card? I had a grocery spend offer in q2 and points didn’t post and now I have the gas offer in q4 and my statement closed and the bonus points haven’t posted(normal 2x posted fine)? My statement shows the correct amounts to be transferred to my Marriott account.

  • United Club card (personal) offer up to 1500 in spend. Runs Oct 1 to Dec 31

    5x for grocery and amazon
    10x for gas

    Up to a possible maximum of 15k miles

  • So, is there anything behind as to who or which cards get the offer? It seems like some people get the offer on at least some of their cobranded cards, while others with the same cobranded cards just get a message that the offer isn't available.

  • Wow on my Bonvoy Boundless I got:
    10x on gas
    5x on Amazon
    5x on Grocery

    Stinks it's not on my CF or CFF to earn UR points, but I'll put some spend on it this quarter for 10x on gas.

  • Freedom Unlimited, Sapphire Reserve have no offers for me.

    Freedom Unlimited was enrolled in 5% back for gas in Q3, guess I should be grateful for that.

    • Same for my Freedom/Flex cards.

      "We are currently unable to identify your account. Please contact us using the number on the back of your card."

      • That's the error I get if I use my regular browser, but in a private/incognito browser it says "The offer you are attempting to access is not available for the card account you entered". I think in the past when I had an offer, I had to use a private browser to see it, but not sure.
