ps, belatedly dawns on me that this new 25% back promo might actually "stack" with the previously reported promotion (that runs through end of year) for 5k back in points per stay? (https://www.doctorofcredit.com/radisson-rewards-earn-5000-bonus-points-for-every-stay-until-end-of-year/) Wishful thinking?
Nice promotion indeed, thanks for the report. I still wince every time I have to battle with the miserable Radisson Rewards web site to find/make reward stay reservations. (For much of this year, you could NOT make ANY "standard" award reservations, as all such Rad hotel rewards reservations via the web were inexplicably jacked up to premium 150% of normal rates.... didn't matter if the hotel was 99% empty..... you just could not.... and bloggers were, for the most part, complicit by their silence....)
So yes, nice to see Raddy shack offer for 25% off REGULAR / standard reward reservations.... for those willing to put up with all the service disruptions/loss of meals/amenities, etc. alas, such are the times. (but would be nice if any blogger anywhere would dare to start keeping tabs on which chains are doing better at offering services/breakfasts of any quality amidst the ongoing challenges....)
ps, kinda funny to see Radisson exclude the Category 1 properties from this promotion. Not that long ago, Radisson had taken the Highlander route and had "only 1" cat 1 property in the entire US of A. Up to four now.... whoopie! Excluding them now yet another not so pleasant reminder of how far and low the program has fallen since being .... Shanghai'd. (for those willing to think back that far....)
