That AMEX Drug-Kingpin story reads like a comedy of errors!
The drug guy probably had another card in hand the next day except the name on it was something like John Smith or Juan Valdez
I don't see the problem here....dude is a successful businessman and big-spender that risks his freedom to bring luxury goods to market and sell to consenting individuals who just want to enjoy their lives and have a little fun, and Officer America gotta be getting in everyones business. Makes me sick! When will smug holier-than-thou governments stop harassing private individuals??!
Walter White missed an opportunity to earn beaucoup Amex MR
AML team same as RAT team
Disgusting that Amex worked so hard to retain their relationship with a money laundering customer yet close accounts and deny bonuses for small customers with the audacity to buy VGC during the MSR period.
I guess non-egregious money laundering is one of the unwritten benefits of a Centurion card.
There’s a good chance I may have committed some light treason.
Today I learned that drug kingpins can organic spend ~$155,000 over 2 months.
Rats finding MSers tastier prey than drug kingpins....
$430k fine for Amex is their one day lunch money.
