how did those people get access to the fund so fast? CHASE always place a hold on my checks for few days even if it's just a small amount
Seriously. They need better AI to identify high risk accounts etc. Don't let randos have access to their cash right away lol
So if the bank's app tells me I have a certain amount of money and the bank's machine lets me take it out, I can still be sued for civil and criminal liability?
When you willingly and knowingly write a bad check (putting down more money than your account has) and depositing into your account, then that is considered check fraud.
lol Spirit has a status with their rewards? I can't imagine anyone who would ever fly Spirit for business travel on an often basis. Yeesh, I feel bad for any poor soul that has to fly spirit that often
They big ass seats are pretty nice, cheap like $35 for recliner size seats. Just gotta put up with the type of people who fly spirit though .. and no entertainment
"The [three] civil cases are separate from potential criminal investigations; JPMorgan says it has also referred cases to law enforcement officials across the country." I'd like to know if & when police/DAs take action. Not holding my breath ...
Police will take it seriously because they stole from a big corporation. Now if they stole the money from an individual? They wouldn't care.
Easier reaching their annual KPIs
Nothing to do with corporations. These are incredibly easy cases to prove with very little investigate resources needed.
