Our Verdict
Not the hottest gift card brands, but could be a good deal for some people. Remember use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases, including the Chase Freedom this quarter. Not sure if you earn fuel points on retailer gift cards at Safeway, but I think you do (?).
The Safeway coupon deals are usually at Von’s, Albertson’s, Randall’s, Tom Thumb, Acme, Shaw’s, and Jewel too. I’m unsure if this deal is too.
