  • I was in my Safeway yesterday and they were announcing over the loudspeaker that this deal is still going. Buy $150 Xmas giftcards here, get $25 off groceries.

  • Same story. Different store. Fresh account with no coupons clipped. Just Frozen Pizza and Diet Coke. $33. Nope. A friend confirms the same.

  • No longer working as $25 off $25+. Just showed -$0.01 twice today, one order had $33 meat. Have not yet tried on $125. These are from earlier. One I got manager override.

  • The small print on this promo is all over the map. The weekly ad has it listed as $25 off your next purchase, no mention of minimum spend amount. It also says it will expire 7 days from when the coupon is generated. With that in mind & not having read the small print on the actual coupon that printed out, I purchased $150 of GCs & got the coupon & immediately checked out with $50 worth of groceries, using the coupon. No problems. Later I bought another $150 of GCs and actually looked at the small print on the coupon. The coupon does indeed say minimum purchase of $125 -- but I feel that's a typo because it's not requiring $125 of spend. Also, the expiration date was 12/27/22, not 7 days from when the coupon was issued. Today 11/19/22, I used that $25 coupon against a $26.50 purchase total, and again no problems, I just owed $1.50. This is my dp, YMMV. But as the ad doesn't mention any minimum spend for the $25 coupon, you have legitimate complaints to customer service if it doesn't work off a $25+ purchase.

    • If it's like other similar gift card offers in the past, it's an in store offer, not a clipped offer.
