  • Rakuten and acorns tracked. Dosh did not track. Referral did not work (received an email saying got $10 gc for referring a friend but opened the email it says friend cancelled). Got the $45 gift card at the member service in store.

  • MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A SCREENSHOT! During signup, it has a code to give the service desk on your first visit. Glad I did, I can't find that code anywhere else.

    • Data points: Using the screenshot of the code during signup, got the $45 gift card just fine from service desk. Rakuten tracked. Dosh has not tracked (at least not yet).

  • Gave it a go...let's see. Worst comes to worst hopefully free membership for a year (much needed, about to cook and diy florals for our wedding). I used a new email and physical address than I did last time. So far I don't see anything on Dosh, and I didn't get any sort of confirmation email from Sam's. I *can* see the shopping trip on Rakuten tho.

    • Rakuten posted...Dosh got back to me right away and manually posted the credit ($6.75). Went in store and got the $45 gift card easy peasy. However, neither the $20 nor $10 gift cards are in my history. Followed reddit directions.

    • Rakuten tracked and posted 360 MR points already (only counted the $45 not tax). Dosh still nada...says it can take up to 90 days but I went ahead and submitted a ticket. On to SC itself...

  • So does anyone have any positive datapoints within recent times of it stacking with anything?

    I personally had the same experience as @guest_1236405 when I signed up late last year.

    Afaik, they even got rid of their in-store treasure hunt for free chicken, cheesecake, and so on... :/

    • Last year I was unable to stack as well, I would steer clear. When I called their customer service about it they told me specifically one offer per sign up

      • I got the free year offer from Discover, got the membership fee as a statement credit and I received a $25 Sam's Club gift card.
        I then applied for the Sam's Club Mastercard and received a $30 statement credit after spending $30 on the card.

  • As some previously noted, the discover thing was a $hit show and outright rejected my effort to stack. Originally they told me I had to wait 3 months. Then they said sams club said that I didn’t qualify. SC never gave me the $45 gift card after going in. Eventually, after going in for the 3rd time they told me that I had to call their customer service line. They said the promo code no longer worked in store and they couldn’t just give me a $45 Sam’s Club gift card. I asked for compensation for my time and the first customer service representative gave me a $10 gift card to which I said was not enough for all of the trouble that I had to go through. I then escalated it and I was told that I would get $75 on a gift card on top of the 45. Trying to get that $75 gift card or $45 gift card has been a hassle and I still haven’t received either one. If you seriously value your time, I’d stay away from this because it’s not worth the headache
