They had the same deals last year. They do have a section on their website for ‘extreme value gift cards‘ with a much bigger selection than the cards listed. Sale should go live online starting at 12:01 Am EST and then stores will open at 7am locally. Also worth remembering that Chase Freedom & Discover it are both earning 5% this quarter at wholesale clubs.
What is Sam’s Club policy re: refunding the Club fee if I’m not satisfied for any reason?
Scored an Apple Watch series 4 late in the day. Kind of surprised by that one since it was like a Black Friday crowd in there.

Just got that Dosh email — 8% from Dosh (max $20) + 5% from Chase Freedom quarterly = 13% back

For this sale last year, silly me, I tried to buy Bob Evans gift cards around 8 am est. “Sold out”. Of gift cards??? Determined not to allow this to happen again this year, I’ve been trying to get through since 12:01 am EST. No dice. It’s 1:07 am. Site is down. It says, “It looks like we’re extra popular today”. Popular? At this point, I really, really doubt that they are “popular”. The best I got was for the gift card to show, but I couldn’t add it to cart. Ugh….
It’s up now. Remember Amex has a $5 credit for $15 or more on Samsclub.com.
The exact same thing happened last time, so you would definitely think they would have figured this out by now.
Last time, I wanted to order a few gift cards and the website was down, so I figured I’d just do it when I woke up. By then they were all sold out. At least today it looks like they still have some.
I saw the info on a different blog. Tried to log info a hour. Sam’s servers answered with an acknowledgement was overloaded – please try later.
I signed on right after midnight. When I signed into my account, it would not go through and someone else’s email would show up on my computer. After trying twice, I decided to stop because my email was probably showing up on other people’s screens. Hopefully not my password too. By morning, all the Sam’s Club gift cards at 20% were gone.

Most of these gift cards don’t seem like very good value. I would like to see more for stores or grocery than restaurants which are a pain to use and the server often doesn’t know how to use them.
