Our Verdict
Better than the 10% eBay sometimes offers, but not nearly as good as the 20% off Amazon sometimes has. I love Hotels.com due to the stacking opportunities, something I discuss in more detail here. Should also earn 5x on Chase Freedom.

Do you have to have a samsung device to use Samsung pay?
For instance, can Samsung pay be used from a kindle?
No you need a samsung device unfortunately

When buying gift cards with Samsung Pay, be VERY careful. They have an express setting where it doesn’t prompt you for the card you want to use (so you might not charge it to the Chase Freedom card mentioned by someone else), or even to confirm the purchase. I accidentally bought one of these cards last month. I immediately called Samsung Pay CS to get it cancelled. The woman I spoke to supposedly spoke to gift card support and they agreed to refund it, but I never saw the credit. I then emailed support a couple of weeks ago and they responded that there are no refunds. I called CS again, and asked if they could help me or if I was going to dispute the charge. The guy actually told me to dispute the charge and said that would work.
