One of the great things about Samsung Pay is that they sell gift cards and these are often heavily reduced. In addition to this you also earn your normal credit card rewards and also rewards through Samsung Pay Rewards. Previously you were limited to $200 in gift card purchases per day, but now Samsung Pay has added a new restriction and you’re limited to two gift cards (across all brands) per 24 hour rolling window.
The reason this is significant is because sometimes gift cards will sell out when they go on sale (this will either help you if you’re slow or limit you if you’re fast) and Samsung Pay also offers 2x-4x rewards periods. One of the easiest ways to max those out was to purchase low denomination gift cards.

DP: for me not earn rewards any more
They do stupid things like this and expect people to use their service? I understand limiting SALE items but gift cards that are unlimited elsewhere?
Probably to limit how hard you can hit the 4x periods.
