The Offer

  • Receive a 10% discount on Jet.com using the Jet app and paying with Android Pay or Apple Pay. Max $30 discount.

This offer is showing up in the app and does not need any promo code. The Android Pay offer will reportedly expire at 11:59 PM ET on 12/28. The Apple Pay offer seems to have an earlier expiration of 9 AM ET on 12/27.

What’s great about this is that there are two other deals that this can stack with.

  1. #AmexJet $20 Off $50 at Jet.com As always, Amex Offer will stack with any other discounts, so long as the total amount charged on the card is $50. And it’s confirmed that Apple Pay and Android Pay in-app works to trigger these offers.
  2. New customers only can save 20% using offer code: SCARYMOMMY2015. This code is stacking with the 10% app discount, but does have a $50 max.

Running the math, a $300 item should end up to cost around $200 after the 10% + 20% + $20.

Our Verdict

Assuming you have the Jet offer on a bunch of Amex cards, the best way, theoretically, to maximize is to make smaller orders of $50 each. However, if you want to order a larger item or just aren’t interested in making multiple orders, this 10% app offer can stack nicely with the $20 off for a great deal, especially for new customers who can get an added 20% off.

  • Confirmed with Amex rep that it does not have to be a single purchase. Plus, there is a 15NOW for 15% off first order. I don't think they care so much about creating multiple accounts...

  • I just placed an order buying a tp-link router with apple pay (using my citi card, sadly I do not have the amex offer). And I use the code SCARYMOMMY2015. But after the order was done, there was no 10% off for apple pay on receipt. Any people have the same experience?

  • People on slickdeals are reporting getting cancellation emails due to apple pay not being meant to be stacked with coupons. Anybody here get those cancellations? Would hate to waste my Amex Offer on an order that will get cancelled.

  • The notice appeared yesterday when I made another purchase but I was afraid we AP might not trigger Amex offer, so I went with credit card payment. Today, as I logged in and try a new order, no more notice is there any more.

    • Has jet charged your card? Jet does not charge the card until it ships the item (and if your order includes multiple shipments, jet will split the charge into smaller transactions that relate to each shipment. In that case you should wait until sum of the all charges from gets more than $50.)

      • I'm not sure but some people in an SD thread said that they received the email right after the purchase. I guess I'll know in a few days if the credit posts. Have you done this Jet promo yet?

        • i've done it several other times. the orders are split sometimes they did pending right away before it ships other times when it ships and the last time it did both.

          I got the offer used message one time, other times i didnt but even when i didnt get the notice it still posted the day after the charges posted. the last time i just ordered its a bit of a mess as have been charged different amounts some are shipping one is not, they charged the intial order in 2 parts, then charged me two more times and one of the times it appears they only charged for one of the 2 items i ordered. I wont know what it all means until it all posts or till i can see what was in the shipments as the tracking info is not available yet. but if it works the way it has in the past. I should get the $20

        • Not yet. Those who receive the email immediately should have got charged by Jet immediately. You can look log in your Amex account and see whether there is a pending charge from Jet.

          • It is pending. However, I made a few other charges yesterday and they are all showing as pending too. I DID receive an email from Amex for all of those right after purchase. I'm thinking the reason might be the Twitter problems with this Jet offer messed things up. I do expect to receive the credit though.

  • How do you get $110 discount when the max for apple pay is $30 and max for new account is $50?!
    In best case you can get total $100 discount not more than that.

  • I first order was cancelled due to package was damaged in transit. I have been waiting for those products for weeks. Too bad, my first time and last time with Jet.com
