Avoiding Fees

Monthly Fees

  • VIP Checking Account, this has a $10 monthly fee. Waived with:
    • $500 or more in qualifying direct deposits or
    • $1,000 or more on deposit with Park
  • VIP All-Access Checking Account, this has a $25 monthly fee. Waived with:
    • $25,000 or more on deposit with Park

Early Account Termination Fee

I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so unsure if there is any EATF.

Our Verdict

I couldn’t seem to find what interest rate the VIP All-Access Checking Account earns, if it’s significant it might be better than the $200 bonus but otherwise the $200 bonus will be the better option. Share if it’s a hard or soft pull and if credit card funding is possible below.

I opened my account at end of August and kept $1,000 balance until now. I received "Promotional Reward" yesterday but it was only $200. According to my notes, it should have been $300 (like what you got) but unfortunately, I did not keep a screenshot of the original offer.

Would you happen to have a copy of the offer that was active around the time you signed up? If you do, I can provide my email address, if you don't mind. Thanks!

      • I do have a screenshot of the original offer. Weird that you only got $200. Let me know where to send it.

Thanks for sending the screenshot. As I had suspected, it showed a different code than what I used. Yours was "VIP300SU24". I don't think I will get anywhere by trying to argue my case.

          Thanks again for your help!

        • @guest_1893856

Thank you for your offer to help. I have sent you an email, if you can reply to it.

I found out that I had used Promo Code "VIP200SU24" while signing up, so maybe I used the wrong promo code? It has "200" in there, which is what I got,

Anyway, I will check your screenshot when you send it to confirm. Thanks again!

    • I opened mine up 8/11 but same payout date. Despite being a resident of NC and not SC/OH, I read the terms and took a chance before DoC put up this promo and it worked. I got my $300.

  • Anyone received a payout? It’s been exactly 90 days for me. I’m just curious as to how soon after I can expect the bonus. I’m sure if won’t be today.

  • Anyone have any updates on bonus timing or successful DD? I think it's 90 days but I'm not quite there yet.

    • Nothing yet, I think I calculated my date to be somewhere around the end of next month. Not sure how bank holidays factor into that though. Leaving $1k there to sit until the bonus appears.
