Our Verdict

Seems like a free $50 Delta credit for Seattle residents with a simple, free Skymiles signup. It might not be useful for existing Delta Skymiles members, though the terms sound like it works for anyone who signs up for a new account (you just can’t merge accounts, according to the terms). There’s a similar targeted offer for existing Skymiles members to get $100 credit; this $50 deal sounds like it’ll work for anyone who signs up for a new Skymiles account.

  • Any ideas on how to extend this. I was foolish to sign up immidiately and no plans to travel until end of the year.

  • How can they tell if u r in Seattle or not? u can always write down a Seattle address I guess, any idea?

  • I registered a new account yesterday night and got the e-credits today in the morning!

  • I registered a new account using the link with address in Seattle three days ago. I haven't got the $50 credit yet (no email).
I tried dummy booking and still no credit was deducted.

  • So ideally, I want to sign up in June in order to extend the amount of time I have with the credit?

    • “To receive the offer, the recipient must have a primary address located in the Seattle, Washington designated market area.”

If you are in Puyallup, I can’t image you would not be eligible.

  • This is a private, non-transferable offer, only intended for the recipient who receives this offer directly from Delta by email, at an email address owned by the recipient or displayed directly to the recipient on delta.com

    • My interpretation was/is that if you see it on delta.com then you are the recipient. Maybe I'm misreading that.

    • That’s 12 Status (1 mile for every Seahawks passing yard), but that program ended last year.
