Our Verdict
Better than previous deals that were spend $100, get $15 back. Not sure if this new deal can be done multiple times or not. Unfortunately this one excludes Visa & Mastercard. Interestingly the Chase Pay deal has continued to work even though it’s expired. Alternatively make sure to use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases
stacks with 5% with Chase Pay
Do Shoprites carry Amazon GCs? I went to a store today and no luck finding one. In general, I always feel like GCs are an afterthought in Shoprite’s business model.
Still can stack with 5% Chase Pay with Chase Freedom.
I’ve done this everytime it includes home depot/lowes gcs. FYI (in the past), it’s been tied to your shopper# and limited to 1 per account (I have 2). Also, buying just a gc has triggered the bonus.
Thanks for the data point. Even though spending $10 in groceries is not too hard. I guess if someone else wants to try getting a gift card only, you are not really losing anything (except the $10 dollar bonus). Oh yeah, I think they do track it as one per Price Plus account.
