Noticed something interesting that may or may not have affected what bonus I would have got.
I had only $5 in my Invest account, and therefore only $5 in “buying power”. Today, my free $5 stocks became pending and my buying power became zero (I think it will only be temporary?). I’m not sure if your buying power can be negative, so therefore i don’t know if I could’ve gotten a higher free bonus stock even if they wanted to award me a higher one? Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.
As expected, my $5 buying power was returned and I have my additional $5 stock.
Won $25 stocks! Picked Tesla. 0.28% return so far. :)
Have a year old account and no offer. Opened stock bits up and only offers to buy shares.
Opened my SoFi money account on 8/11, opened Invest on 8/13 and won $100!!

I have a sofi invest account under a separate email address from my sofi money account. The promotion was not under my existing sofi invest, however, I tried to open a new sofi invest using my separate sofi money account. The promotion showed up but the new account would not open.
Confused. I looked in Sofi Invest and see Stock Bits, which allows me to buy dollar shares but nothing else. Does that mean I got no offer? Also, how to check whether I did this before ?

I’ve only ever seen/gotten the option to buy them. I was all, ‘Have I been missing out, assuming you could only use this to buy them?’
