unfortunately for me, the price is higher after applying the promo code on 12/25. scam...

I have a SWA flight on 12/26 and that price dropped, so I was able to rebook. So even if you are not flying on one of those 4 days, you might still see a discount.
is it possible to rebook "wanna get away" fares? I know they are non-refundable so I assume not.
Yes, you can rebook any SWA fare. My fares are always Wanna Get Away fares. The funds will just be tied to a specific passenger unless you booked with SWA points.
