  • It’s nice that it’s 28 days too. I just did the $100 for 1000 SW and now another 2000 SW. Between this and the SW cards it’s easy to accumulate points.

    • American had a week long shopping portal bonus offer just in the last 1 - 2 weeks. But it was a referral. Earn up to 2000 points by referring someone and you get 400 points if they spend $100.
It was BS. I want they come onboard with a real bonus because I have some legitimate company spend that can be used.

      • Yeah, I saw that. All the AA accounts I manage already had AS shopping transactions as keep-alive transactions or to earn other bonuses (button install), so I had no one to refer. I am certainly not going to spam my network of friends with requests to sign up.

        • "I am certainly not going to spam my network of friends with requests to sign up."

Exactly what P2 said when I made a comment about this particular shopping bonus!

    • Contrary from "TravelGeek" not from my experience. The terms explicitly deny it. Also I have had plenty of negative experience with an unauthorized coupon code or specific item that disqualified points on the purchase. The terms are strict and are well enforced. Even if the points do post expect a clawback 6 weeks later. Don't waste your time.

    • Appears not. Terms at the bottom of the SW offer page state:

“Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card, or other cash-equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus points.
