  • To everyone saying that the promo doesn't work for flights that aren't within the blackout date: each flight has a limited number of fares for each promo, and not all flights have availability for these promo fares to begin with. Your best bet is to look right when these promos start.

  • Good luck finding dates when the promo works… I feel like every time Southwest has a crazy promotion, 99% of dates are blacked out and from my experience, even their customers service reps can’t help find dates when the offer code is valid.

  • My flight is within the program terms and not on an excluded date and it is saying the flights aren’t available for the promo. I have gone through the terms multiple times and can’t see why it would be excluded.

  • Southwest card holders should also check their southwest accounts again for promotions. I got 6x points back on southwest flights and 4x points back everywhere on up to 2k in spending.

  • Pretty good deal - rebooked an existing reservation and got a $36 flight credit, which I applied to a new reservation that was marked down by $31.

  • I hope "Select flights" don't mean 737 max 9s. I wouldn't take 100% off to fly one of those bad boys.

      • Abhir has never even flown Southwest so naturally he doesn't know what planes are in its fleet. All he knows is that mentioning the 737 Max 9 is sure to get upvotes from other people who have also never flown Southwest!

          • No, they are not the same in respect to the current issue with the Max9, which is an exit door that has been blocked off with a blank or "plug".
