The Offer
- Staples is offering Apple AirTags 4-Pack For $70. Deal starts 11/19 and is in store only
Our Verdict
Better than the previous low of $76.88, hopefully Amazon and others price match. Use a card that earns at a high rate on office supply stores.

Arrived at Staples in Nanuet, NY at 10:55. In took about 5 minutes to find an employee. Then he had to search in the back for the AirTags. Purchased two using an AmEx Business card for an additional 5% off.
I was able to get one this morning. They were also selling one airtag for $19. I got there around 10:30 and the guy behind me got the last 4 pack.
I called my local Staples at around 12:30pm today (store opened at 10am) to see if any 4-packs were left. The associate said he had one left, and I was able to convince him to hold it for me while I drove to the store. Paid for it by redeeming my Discover cashback for a Staples GC at 15% off!
I am at a Staples retail store on 11/19 but the 4 pack is not on sale. The store clerk said with the Staples Connect app I can get them 79.99 but not 70. I wonder how I can get 4 pack at this price.
Did the clerk scan the 4-pack? The instore 4-pack was listed full price, but scanned for 70 dollars
Apparently, the store associate was incorrect and the deal price was 70 dollars. I initially gave up and almost leaving the store, I luckily found the advertisement showing $70 (and single AirTag for $19) and spoke about it again with the staff and he admitted 79.99 was incorrect. I scored 4/pk AirTag at $70 end of the day!
Curious whether people think these will sell out on 11/19. Since Staples has a 14-day price post-purchase price guarantee, is it worth buying the product this week and just price matching it next week?
Is the sale considered a special event? If not then your idea might work. "We don't price match competitors' or our own local or special events (e.g., grand opening, anniversary, clearance, timed sales or liquidation sales, “Black Friday” or “Cyber Monday” sales)."
my/your exes don't like this..
There are a bunch of ways to get a $10 off in-store coupon for staples too that will likely stack with this - returning an amazon item via staples is probably the easiest.
Every single staples coupon I have ever seen excludes Apple products.
With Amex Biz Gold office supply credit of $20 these become $50 :)
Wow! I wish I had that Amex card
Nice deal, bought them years ago for tracking checked-in baggage.
It is time to finally get one of these tools.
