Our Verdict
Seems like Staples is really cycling through these different offers at the moment. Should stack with the Chase offer as well.

neither 65983 nor 13240 worked for me today - 7/2/20
I was able to use (13240) to get $20 off of $100. I also used (62825) for 25% Back in Rewards. the 20 off is valid till 6/19.
Only works with Plus :(
Paid Plus only. Doesn't work on Premier or regular
same here, the 30 off is only for a paid Plus membership
lots of staples items are vastly overpriced.... I wanted to purchase a specific monitor and they charged $235 while competitors charged $160.... and their price matching is pretty limited so I dunno how they will stay in business for the long haul
I’ve wondered this too.
My wife speculates that Staples is sustained by large agencies (such as governments) that don’t easily change vendors. For example, the organization she works for is largely funded and managed through the state, and employees can’t just buy from just *any* vendor. There’s an approved list of vendors with whom the agency has a relationship (perhaps even billing terms—which I see Staples promote a fair a bit). If they want to get something from a vendor not on the list, there’s extra paperwork involved.
I still wonder how long that can sustain Staples, or why businesses/entities would keep such a blind eye to the incredible price inflation there, but maybe that’s still enough to work for Staples for now.
Shockingly worked on ink (plus 60714 for 10% back in rewards on ink/toner). Thanks!
Worked for me today - 6/11
I am sure I am not the only person who remembers the late 90s/early 00s when Staples would have almost perpetual $20-off-$50 coupons. Using those to buy FAR antivirus software helped feed me during college. These recent coupons for 25% off are not quite as good, but they are becoming nearly as prevalent. Unfortunately the FAR products seem to be lost to history.
Would be better if this was applicable to anything I actually want to buy from Staples.
My wife drinks those Kcups coffee. I don't drink coffee so of no use to me but bought a bunch for her as the price is competitive with Amazon and beats it in a few cases and with the $25 off even better. Making coffee at home keeps her from wasting it a Starbucks...
Just used the link to purchase a few paper towels. Thanks DoC. Hope it helps in some small way.
