Direct Link to offer

  • Swagbucks is offering 10 SB (worth 10%) back on Walmart.com purchases.

The Fine Print

  • Cash Back is not available on Apple Products, Beats products, WeatherTech products, Household Essentials, Personal Care Products, Diapers, Formula, Baby Food, Gift cards, Groceries/Food, Orders deemed to be for reselling purposes, Pharmacy, Precious Metals, Tires, Video Game Consoles, Photo Services or Walmart+ Memberships.

Our Verdict

While there are a number of exclusions in the fine print, this still looks like a good deal for electronics and many other categories.

Hat tip to reader Fred who notes that this offer is slated to last for Saturday and Sunday, 2/17-2/18 (and the offer will apparently transition on Monday to be only valid in the Home category).

If you’re new to Swagbucks, please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

  • How long does it take for Walmart purchases to track on SB? Placed order yesterday morning and still nothing.

    • Shows up now. I figured it would as soon as I ask here! Just wanted to have time to take action if it did not track.

      • I see it too in app, it shows 1% for Walmart in both "Your personalized deals" and "offers from your favorite stores" but then keep scrolling even farther down to "more deals for you" and Walmart is listed at 15% as a limited time event.

        • Thanks, found it in the app like you said and also if you go to "Holiday Weekend Sales" on the web version you can find it too. Annoying that they have multiple different cash back rates all spread out in different places. The other thing that sucks with Capital One is their redemption options are much more limited.

  • I wish the categories were a bit clearer. Does "Health and Medicine" fall under "Pharmacy"? Has anybody received cash back on purchases for things like vitamins, protein powders (which are under "Health and Medicine"?

    • Yes. The only exception I know to that is the $1 Amazon giftcard for 110 SB (but $3 and up are 100 SB/$). And you can redeem a $25 non-Paypal giftcard for 2200 SB once a month, although I do the $25 Virtual Prepaid MC for 2175 instead.

          • Not trying to be clever, unless saving extra 25SB is being clever, then yes trying to be clever.
I know MC is 13% off opposed to 12% for everything. I do get that every month too. I'm just agreeing with you.

  • Thanks for the heads up, does anybody know if this includes third-party sellers (with fulfillment by Walmart)?

      • I've bought 3rd party Walmart through Rakuten and it paid out (although it ended up categorized differently than I expected)

      • Not sure about SB but I made a WM purchase about a week ago with a 3rd party seller on another CB site (RebatesMe) and just got confirmed transaction a day ago. Maybe SB records transactions similarly?

        • Thanks everybody for the feedback, that is good to know. Sometimes price is the same on Amazon and Walmart by third-party sellers and since Amazon does not do cash back then might be able to do better with Walmart.
