Our Verdict
I doubt if this is a service that our readers would want to use for its actual use purpose. It’s a decent bonus for a signup, though you do need to give personal information and there might also be some hassle in getting your employment information verified. Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below.
If you’re new to Swagbucks, please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

Are those that opened this account keeping it opened for any reason?
I was wondering the same.
App setup was buggy and required logging in a million times. I was about to quit but just then managed to cash out; SB went yellow and 7500sb showed up in the pending log a day later
so annoyed... did the whole swagbucks setup, linked my account, took a payday "loan" and no check marks, no swagbucks pending, this was over a week ago. now i'll fill out the customer service form and they are gonna tell me "they didn't report anything to us" and we will go back and forth for a week and either receive my points or not. i remember now why I stayed away from SB for like two years
finally got my SB ... twice... cashed out with paypal. if they try to claw back they can suck it!
I did the cash out of $10 with standard processing time (free). After several hours it is showing with the orange pending circle under my visited, but no SB in my pending list of earnings.
Same for me too. Its showing as pending orange circle in my visited tab but nothing under pending activity on Mypoints.
Same for me. Signed up via SB on 10/26 and did two deposits (one instant for a free trial and one standard). Both deposits are showing in my bank account as of 10/26. There is the orange pending circle on SB, but with no value. Will give it another few days before reaching out.
@guest_1725705 I finally got it today after the deposit hit my bank account. I'm assuming that's what it was waiting for.
Easy $75 for those who work.
Not too bad to set up. Had some specific pain points.
After I linked up my account via Plaid, it kept sending me in a loop and forcing me to do it over and over again. I contacted support at that point and they apparently could see the linked account and asked for paystub and confirmed my pay date. Then the app kept insisting I add a debit card for lightning transfer, but I don't have a debit card for that account. Rep said I don't need to add it. And then told me, after about twenty minutes total interaction, that account is approved and good to go. I verified my work email. Eventually, it allowed me to skip that debit card step on next login and I could transfer out up to 100. Told me it'd pull back the 100 on the 1st. No APR.
Now let's hope the my points post.
They didn't post yet. I'll have to get in touch with Mypoints
Mypoints said they couldn't verify my signup, even with all the screenshots I provided etc.
I signed up this morning through mypoints and did have some trouble verifying my work and paychecks. The support team responded really quickly each time, so still only spent about 20 min getting everything set up so I could cash out money. Cashed out about $11, and I seen the pending points around 4 PM. It says the points will be credited in 32 days.
I just realized - This one won't work for me (Or for some churner like me) - I recently changed my payroll deposit bank. ( and have switched back to original one again which is yet to take effect! ) -
For this to work, they need to see two paychecks deposited in the account - Which I won't have till at least 1.5 month. I am not sure:
1. There is any time limit to get this done to have SB pending
2. I am not sure if there are any fees associated to keep this open for 1.5 - 2 months!
UPDATE: The chat support was able to manually setup for me - I was able to transfer $50 of interest free loan due on my next pay period!
Now, I am hoping SB goes pending even with this manual setup!
Overall, this service seems pretty useless to me given that Amex lets you take out $2k interest fee loan per card to someone else's paypal /venmo account without so much hassle.
Update 2: SB points are now pending after 9 hours.
Used referral code from Google, my employer has 700k+ employees. Had to verify work email and also had to upload my paystub which is now in review. Seems it won't be quick for everyone. YMMV
Signed up connected bank account and entered a referral code I found online. Put $5 in the tip jar and they matched the $5. Sent the $100 towards bank account. Seems pretty easy
7500 swagbucks already pending 3 hours later
A totally useless app. They will go out of business soon.
great for people who want to get trapped by modern day payday lending
The app is useless for the majority of DOC readers, but useful for people living pay check to pay check and people who cannot control their spending habits who also use a debit card. Otherwise, as other people who did the math already, the hassle of gaining marginal interest by requesting money every month is not worth it.
Only way it is worth it if it could automated, but even then, time is worth more going for other lucrative things
@guest_1723378 have you used it?
