Swagbucks: Sign Up For Lifelock & Get 8,000 Swagbucks ($60 Money Maker) Works On Android & iOS

Update 10/15/20: Deal available again.

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Swagbucks is offering 4,699 Swagbucks (worth $46.99) when you sign up for Lifelock.

The Fine Print

  • If you cancel within 40 days they reserve the right to remove the SB
  • Swagbucks should credit within 7 days (seems to be instantly for most people)

Our Verdict

I think the app is iOS only, but not 100% sure about that. You’ll need to keep a membership for two months and that will cost a total of $20, so you’ll end up making $60 (update some are saying that the $9 option also works. Making it a $62 money maker). Some people have issues with tracking when it comes to Swagbucks, so might not be worth it for some. Make sure you cancel otherwise you’ll be charged $10 a month.

  • Signed up for this offer on 10/15 and not tracked. Submitted 1st ticket and CS told me to wait until 42 days then it should be posted. Waited till 42 days, no luck. Sent 2nd ticket last week and no reply. Sent 3rd ticket and get a reply that told me to wait for ANOTHER 45 days to credit.

Also in T&C states "If you are not credited within 32 days, you have 14 days to contact the Swagbucks Help Center for further investigation. Help Center tickets submitted after the 14 day grace period are not eligible for further investigation and SB."

    Totally BS.

  • I signed up for the 8000 point offer by sending myself the link from the same email address that's registered with Swagbucks. I did wait a week to download the app but then completed that and signed up for the $9.99 plan. The points are NOT pending in my SB account. Customer support is telling me to wait 32 days to see if they post to my account but that means wasting another $9.99 with Lifelock and possibly not getting any points. I'd like to find out what I did wrong here or what I can do to get support to add the points as pending. I'm confident I followed all the instructions from the email although there was no "GO TO ACCOUNT" button after registering for the cheapest Lifelock plan which was instruction #3 from the email. @guest_960121

    • Update: After multiple rounds of email with Swagbucks Support after waiting the 32 day period, they finally posted the 8,000 points. I provided them with two screenshots from the Lifelock confirmation email and the Activity ID from the offer. Always an inconvenience when it doesn't automatically link on the offer but turned out positive in this case. On to the next deal.

    • I'm in a similar quandary. I think I'll cancel and then try again with the 6500 offer when my current subscription expires in about a week. Hopefully that offer will still be available.

  • I did the 8000 SB offer in October last year. It says I am not eligible now. I did the 6500 SB "Shop" offer 8/14/2020 and received the credit 10/15/2020. I did the Shop offer again today and have points pending. I don't think you can do both the 8000 SB offer and the 6500 SB offer at the same time but you can certainly do both. They will only let you have one subscription open at a time, probably based on SSN as I have tried different email addresses and different mailing addresses. No one time per user on the 6500 Shop offer. Run it.

    • Thanks for this - very interesting. The 6500 Shop offer requires you to be subscribed for at least 60 days, or basically until your swagbucks post. I'm wondering, are you able to cancel your subscription after the swagbucks post and avoid paying for a third month? If so, how much time do you have to cancel? I imagine it would be a very tight window.

      • You can cancel after the second charge and not be charged a third. Although you have canceled, you stay subscribed for the remainder of the month so cancel at any time after the second charge.

        • Got it, thanks. Just signed up using the 6500 offer link, however no sign of swagbucks yet. Did they go pending for you immediately after you signed up?

          • Still nothing pending for me. It probably didn't track - i stupidly tried to do it on my phone. I'll give it until the end of my subscription month and if nothing shows up I'll cancel and try again. Too risky I think to take this up with customer support, as I don't want to bring attention to my account.

          • I feel like there is always more risk with doing offers on the phone. I only do them on the phone if they require an app be downloaded which I know the 8000 SB offer did but the 6500 one does not.

          • I think I would still submit. I have not seen lifelock on MP or Inboxdollars so since I have only done it with Swagbucks, I don't think it would be a big risk for me to submit a ticket. I know Davis had some trouble recently which definitely makes me think about it but I'd probably still do it. Then again it's only 8.99 if you cancel now.

  • Had to refresh the SB page to get the 8000 SB offer instead of the 6500 one, but the rest of the process appeared to have gone smoothly. My bonus is stated to post in 32 days. I'll update when that happens.

  • Just did this offer. Started on the computer, then had it email me the link for mobile.
Filled out the info, but it stalled on the final button after putting in CC info. Deleted the app (iOS) and then re-did the offer on computer, link sent to phone.

Went through all the same steps, finally the button worked. Clicked the red "Go to my account" button on the confirmation screen (like the directions said), but that just prompted me to log in. I logged in, clicked around the different sections, & got an email 5-10 minutes later from SB saying my SB are pending.

$10.88 total with tax, so paying for 2 months gets ~$58 net MM.
Used Paypal Key to get 5% through Freedom Flex.

  • Make sure if you did the Norton swagbucks deal to cancel and change that email to diffrent one from the one you plan on using or you will not be able to open a lifelock account. They are same company now and took me some thinking on why the heck I could not get passed the order screen bc it gives you no error code but figured out it was having the Norton account from a prior deal.

  • Suggested action to do before cancelling: request removal from their (paper) mailing list. If you don't, you'll never hear the end of them. And if you try to do it after your account is cancelled, it's very difficult to do, since they have to access your account. In order to do that you have to answer about a 10-minute questionnaire to prove identity.

  • I made it in July and can see it again for 8000sb. Did anybody make it twice?
/////Must be a new user of LifeLock app and a new Lifelock customer to earn SB.

    • It would be a major risk because of: "Must be a new user of LifeLock app and a new Lifelock customer to earn SB"
