Our Verdict

We have seen a Hotels.com $50 for $40 deal before and unfortunately it seems to be one per lifetime for that deal. Read here as to why you might want discounted Hotels.com gift cards. You can read our full review of Swych here. If you’re signing up, be sure to use a referral link to be able to get $5 off any $10 gift card. I used it to get a $10 Amazon gift card for $5. You can add your link in the comments there too, but make sure to follow the instructions there.

You won’t be able to stack this Hotels.com deal with the $5 signup bonus since each one needs a promo code, and you can only use one promo code per checkout. (Might be a good idea to buy the $10 Amazon gift card before checking out on the Hotels.com gift cards since the $5 signup offer might have to be your first purchase – I don’t know.)

  • I just got it to work. Right after I used Android Pay to pay for the Hotels.com gc I clicked on the back button on my phone. That's when the Chili's gc offer came along and it made me use Android Pay again to the $1.

    It's a limited quantity offer (that's what it said on the app) so I would jump on the deal.

    Hopefully Swych will have more good deals in the future.

  • Thanks Doc. Got Both cards . I had $20 reward points from some other promo so got $50 Hotel.com GC for $20.

  • I didn't read the slickdeals post until it was too late....looks like the Chili's GC part only works if you use Android Pay or Apple Pay.
