• chalupa box may be dead, I've gotten a few already but tried another new account and only got the taco as a reward

• Worked perfectly for wife & I, easy drive thru pickup. You have two weeks to use the reward. Just "earn" it today through signup. Another account I created during their crummy 1st roll-out over the summer also had the offer (because I never logged in) and you may be able to login & logout multiple accounts in the app to get your daily fill. Note it seems to take a few minutes for the offer to appear unless "until supplies last?" is causing Jun and MCT a problem.

  • This promotion more than makes up for their first promotion fail. I forgive them.

• Signed up but don't see the free chalupa cravings box offer.

  • Check again. Mine showed up later

  • I don't see it either therefore I immediately deleted the app and unsubscribed from Taco Bells emails..

• I have been getting a free box every day for the past week or so ;)

• Surprisingly, 2.9 million boxes haven’t been awarded yet.

  • Please tell us your secrets on the free food that you've been getting for quite some time now.

    You even claimed that it hasn't blown up on Doc's site yet, could this Taco Bell be the one that you were referring to all along or are you just pretending that you hate it so that no one knows about it !

• Tip - it took a few minutes for the new account rewards (cravings box) to appear under the app's "my rewards". I was clicking between home, menu, my rewards, and account and after ~2 minutes suddenly there was a notification.

• Making 6 extra accounts.

  Here i come !

• I got the box. Pretty good value, even without the freebie ($9.35 worth of food for $5). Was easy to sign up for the app.

  • Let's be honest. It's Taco Bell. At most it's $3.50 worth of "food"

    That said, I'm heading to Taco Bell...

• So this involves signing up with a new account or logging in with an existing account that has never signed into the app before since their transition to a new rewards program.

  I logged in a while ago on one and got only the locos. I logged in with another and now got the chalupa box and locos. They can’t be stacked in the same order.

  • Chalupa is meh.
    Crunchy taco sucks.
    5 Layer burrito (no beans) is great!
    Cinnamon twists is like eating sugar air (crunchy cotton candy).
    Drink is drink.
    Box is thick construction paper.

      • Almost anything can be dog food.

    • This was discussed somewhere in the past but Taco Bell charges different fees for add ons depending on location. I tested two locations that are within 2 miles of each other. One charged for onions while the other didn’t and one charged for bloody red sauce while the other one didn’t. Very weird pricing.

      • Taco Bell drive-through is number one in my book. Never more than 30 seconds per car wait time. Phenomenally fast. I give credit where credit is due.

• ...... sigh, this means we have to deal with the perennial taco bell "app from hell." Among the latest insanity, they keep doing auto update to the app, which prevent you from using your existing app, unless you update it..... but when you do, you have to log in all over again..... and if you don't have your pw memorized, you lose.... (including any balances you had on your account) Oh sure, you can call in.... (endure longgggg wait times or messages saying no one available...) app from hell.

  • irony here .... if the idea was originally meant as an apology to existing customers for screwing up previous promo, that no longer applies.... as the promo here is only for new accounts.... and so it goes.
