  • There was sales tax added when I purchased mine through the app. Including sales tax it came to $10.73 total. I purchased it with a discounted gift card purchase through Topcashback.

  • As a frugal person who eats at taco bell a lot (5x$1 cheesy bean and rice burritos every time).. I still can't make this make sense. It's just too small of a thing to be worth actually planning more trips to taco bell around. If I could buy 4 or 5 passes at once I might consider it when I was bulking

Also you can eat at taco bell and lose weight. Calories in calories out.

    • Would work great for anyone that lives right by TB, or who drives by one on a daily commute.
I used to have a Wendy's right out the back door. Fortunately they never had a food subscription, but I did have more than my fair share of Wendy's every week.

    • I'm on a diet.... one taco (the good ones) plus a free senior drink (nocal) of course.... and I'm good for lunch..... for the next 30 days.

      • last year, maybe.... didn't work this year. My wife and I both have high end Samsungs, via T-mobile, but we generally loathe doing .... like this via any app. (so really had wanted to sign her up via her phone, but no dice. Forced us each to use a phone, then select a qualifying local location for delivery. the way the terms then showed up, had me worrying it was only going to work on overpriced delivery orders..... (remembering last year I could get one every time in store) do hope that's still the case.

      • Except the probability that an old person without a smartphone will make the effort to find out what an emulator is and how to use it is practically zero. You could explain even the most basic workarounds, and the response would still be "nah, too much work".

    • If your great-grandchildren won't help you figure this out, give me your info and I'll help.
Alternately, you can also just pay full price for a taco every day for 30 days--which I suppose still costs less than owning a smartphone.

    • Hmmm. YMMV.

First of all, heard of inflation, gramps? $1 taco? A regular taco is $1.69. Supreme is $2.69.

My local Taco Bell is about 2 miles roundtrip (less if I was already going somewhere in that direction). Gas is running $3.99/gal in my area, and my car gets 30mpg. So that's 13.3 cents per mile, or $.27 for the trip. And actually, weather permitting, I'd save the $.27 in gas and bike it, or even walk it if I wanted to burn off a couple more of the calories from the taco.

I'll take a Taco Supreme any day (or every day for the next month) for between $.33 and $.70 each! :)

      Chris.

      • 1 per day per account, if you get 5 accounts and get a pass on each account you can get 5 free tacos each day. That requires 5 emails and maybe 5 phone numbers

  • Interesting promo. If I was still in college or something I would definitely do this.

However I could not imagine this being worth my time currently, even with taco Bell right on my route. Work traffic is brutal and just crossing to the next intersection and then getting back out is probably going to be 5 or 10 minutes by the time I order the taco even mobile order. All to save a few cents on the taco I didn't previously want. - definitely tempting though.

    • Isn't it ridiculous it takes you 10 minutes to drive two blocks when at the wrong place at the wrong time.

    • Still a deal. Taco Bell is Banking on the other 2 tacos, burrito supreme with no sour cream, Mexican pizza and a drink to round out the order.
