Our Verdict

You can get a bonus of 100,000 without upgrading. The advantage to upgrading is that you should be able to get the bonus even if you’ve had the Business Platinum before. If that’s you and you’re targeted then this offer is worth considering as normally you wouldn’t be able to get the bonus again. Just keep in mind the $595 annual fee. That’s partially offset by the $200 airline credit and other benefits (e.g lounge access) but still might not be worth it for some especially if you already have another variation of a Platinum card. Spend requirement of $10,000 might also be difficult for a lot of readers to meet.

  • Seems to be targeted offer. I clicked the offer under my gold card on my amex account and was given the upgrade. Then the annual fee for first year seems to be only 356. Awesome deal if that sticks! Was prorated back the amount left for my gold cards year.

  • I did 4 of the RAT LINKS with P1 P2. I've been using all the NLL rat links for past 2 years. Nothing bad has happened yet yolo swag. I have one last biz gold but tried this link and RAT link last few but neither worked.

  • I got this offer but I am still not decided whether I am gonna sign up or not. I never had the Biz Platinum before as I cannot meet the $20K expense. However, I can manage to spend $10K if I pay my property tax (with requires 1.29% fee). Any thoughts or suggestions?

    • 1.29% fee is sweet, mine is like 3%. you're basically just paying .29% fee to pay off a sub. but if youve never had a biz plat before you should definitely do a new card sub instead. apply for one of the 250k offers. then after you could upgrade your other card

    • correct me if im wrong, but having the biz plat via this offer would make u ineligible for a LL SUB. so keep that in mind...LL offers have recently been 250k

  • The 120,000 upgrade still pops up for me. The page looks like a standard upgrade, though the 120k MR offer is mentioned in the terms. (Note: I did get some errors opening on my laptop -- has better luck on my phone (in a browser window).
