Our Verdict
A friend got this offer, I assume it’s highly targeted. There might be other versions of it as well. Not a major bonus. It’s mainly useful on a card that you’d be using anyway, e.g. BBP 2x or $5k+ transactions on Platinum Business card. The $2,500/2500 offer is the highest bonus amount at 1x per dollar on top of the regular earn.

I just got spend $35,000 get 17,500 points.
I am going to give AMEX a call because this offer seems a little misleading.
Spend $4,000+, get 2,000 Membership Rewards points, up to 3 times
Then, at the bottom it states: "Get 2,000 Membership Rewards points by using your enrolled card to spend a minimum of $4,000+ in one or MORE eligible transactions."
Then reading full offer terms it states : An eligible purchase means A purchase of at least $4000.
Hmmm....

Biz card has $10 on $1000 spend, up to 3 times. It's only 1% but will be sweet combined with some of the nice offers on gas and Staples or along with a 3% category ...

This is actually great as this is already 2x on all purchases up to 50k, so it becomes 2.6 points on 45K (assuming you didn't put any spend on it yet)
